No After Taste!
I am so pleased to find this brand. This is the first time I have tried “fish oil” tablets and not tasted fish all day. I hate fish. So I am very happy and will take these regularly. Of course, I’ll have to wait a couple of months to see if this helps to bring down the triglyceride level (along with diet modifications).

This must be some kind of powerful stuff…
…because any time I take it for more than a day or two in a row, I get nosebleeds. I know that can be a side-effect of taking too much fish oil, but I’ve taken fish oils off and on over the years and never had nosebleeds. With these, I’ve had at 3 of them! One time I was eating a lot of sardines and taking fish oil and I had a bloody eye (subjunctive hemorrhage). I think that was probably a bit too much Omega-3.

I really like the size of these Omega 3’s. Usually they are so much bigger, these are really easy to swallow. I am really hoping they will lower my cholesterol.

Ineffective product for influencing Omega-3 Index.
UPDATED REVIEW 9/14/17The tests that I ordered to verify this product’s effectiveness did not give me the whole picture in terms of my omega fatty acids. After contacting the company I found out that they also in addition to my Omega Index had the results of my Omega6:Omega3 ratio and AA:EPA ratio as well. It turns out that the RESTORE product although it did not improve my Omega Index, it improved both my 6:3 and AA:EPA ratios. From May to September I went from Omega6/3 ratio of 5.6:1 and AA:EPA ratio of 6.8:1. This is great as these are risk factors for disease. Since this product is effective I’m now changing my review to 5 stars. The capsule are easy, small, and have no fishy aftertaste.I ADVISE ALL PURCHASERS TO MAKE SURE THEY GET A MORE COMPREHENSIVE BLOOD TEST OF THEIR OMEGA PROFILE THAT INCLUDES THE OMEGA 6:3 RATIO AS WELL AS THE AA:EPA RATIO.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This product was ineffective for me in influencing my Omega-3 Index. I collected a blood test to measure my index on 5/15/17, supplemented for 3 months with this product, and then took another test on 9/1/17. My Omega-3 Index went from 7.95% to 7.94%. I would not recommend this product. I wish I could have a refund of this product.

Better $ / safer offerings.
I ordered these by mistake as there is another brand I have purchased before that I meant to reorder. That brand is the same strength same price but 50% more pills. Oh well, I didn’t want to break my 3gm per day regiment by returning them. So these pills are over priced and worst of all potentially unsafe. These come in in a foil backed blister pack. You have to pop the pills through the foil. The problem is the foil completely seperates and sticks to the pill 30% of the time. Be very careful of what you are about to swallow!

Read carefully, itâs 60 pills, but you need 2 for the 1000mg EPA. Quality seems to be very good and price is more than fair. Pills easy to swallow, for me at least. My new source for EPA for now at least.

I have been taking this product for well over a year now. I don’t write reviews but after my most recent experience I really wanted to.I started taking this because of the various studies regarding high EPA fish oil and depression and anxiety. I also kept dated notes on various symptoms I had as for the price, I wanted to know it definitely helped. Here’s my findings-I have scalp psoriasis which can get quite severe, have had it since I was 9/10 years old and was prescribed tar shampoos, cocois ointment, steroid ointments etc but stopped after a few years because of the hassle etc. Have just used medicated shampoos since, I’m now 28. About 3 months after taking this, I noticed one day that my head hadn’t flared or been itching like crazy and the plaques were almost gone. I have only used baby shampoo for a long time now, and have never been able to do that since I was young! Even missing one wash with medicated shampoo would make a difference.I also had persistent pain in my index finger knuckle for over a year. Around the same time I noticed this was also goneI used to get occasional infected acne and a spot would stay for over a week, red and sort of infected under the skin. That stopped happening (still get some spots lol but they don’t go like that when Im taking epa)I’m on low income so it’s hard to afford these tablets, and at times I ran out. It was then that I noticed my mood worsened (towards the beginning even after about 5 days of not taking) my anxiety would be much higher. It took me a couple of times of running out to realise this was definately linked. So overall for mood- I didn’t suddenly feel happy but the difference was clear when I stopped taking the epa. I soon want to double my dose and record the findings to see if there’s a greater effect (after reading studies and different dosages) but will need to save up for that lol!Anyway, recently due to my daughters birthday and other financial reasons, I tried to switch to a cheaper supplement. It was 750 EPA 250 DHA. This is the longest I have gone without taking this Phamepa supplement. Noticed my mood was worse etc but just carried on, after 3-4 weeks my scalp is currently really bad, itching is so intense, and plaques are back. my finger and other joints hurt again. My skin is worse. I then really considered my mood and Its definitely worse, especially anxiety. So I reordered yesterday morning for delivery by the evening and I’m sticking to this supplement, as I can 100% say it works for me and it must keep my inflammation levels down more than anything else I have tried. If your considering this supplement but the cost puts you off, maybe take notes with dates etc and give it a 3 month trial…..then stop and see what difference it makes to you.Hope this review and supplement helps some other sufferers out there!
