I was hesitant this would work. I thought, itâll get hot in certain spots and not the others, or it wonât heat up at all type of thoughts. Especially after reading some reviews. So I took a chance.I want to leave a very detailed review because thatâs what I look for when I want to purchase something and I want to hear every detail.* When I was shampooing I also tried out one of those rechargeable head massagers. Awesome!! Just wanted to make sure my scalp was fully ready for this salon like experience * How long people want this to be itâs pretty damn long for meThe court is pretty darn long. I donât know how long some expected to be but I could definitely sit on my couch and plug this in and use it. And if you plan on walking in the room, then get an extension cord lol but I was able to pace around a little strip of my patio, and I did not feel like it restricted me at all.The back string to make the bonnet tighter is a little tricky, but I find if I tighten it Before I put it on, it works well. It just slides right over my cap that I put on before. I didnât clip my hair up because I wasnât sure if the plastic clips would melt or warp and no metal clips for heat reasons. My hair is about 2-3 inches above mid back so I plopped it on my head. I didnât care if it fell (didnât fall) I just wanted all hair in there.I started off right at 8 then I thought Iâll up it the top, level 10. After a few minutes, I soon realized that my ears needed to come out. Makes your ears heat up, so I just kind of flipped them outside the cap and readjusted. They look weird sticking out but itâs better than them getting hot . They didnât burn or anything just hot and made the tops of em red.Level 10 is not extremely hot. I donât want it to be extremely hot because then Iâll do damage to my hair and my scalp, etc. so level 10 is a good heat choice if you want deep conditioning and if it cold and you want to sit outside or for people with thick or a lot of hair. . I sit outside to do mine , and itâs winter right now so itâs perfect. When it gets warmer, I probably will turn it anywhere from a 4-8 maybe just depending on the temperature outside.I used a clear shower cap underneath. I may try a foil one next. It heats up perfectly even heat distribution all the way around.I set it for half an hour. I didnât keep track of the time to see 1/2 an hour would be up to make sure the cap actually worked like it was supposed to. It did shut off automatically. Also, no no.drips out of the cap. Like when the moisture starts seeping out and down your neck and forehead? Nope. Nothing.I waited a bit for it to cool down before I removed the cap. I loosened the back strap and it came off without taking my clear cap. Then I let my hair cool for about 5 minutes so my hair would get to room temperature and the hair follicles will close and seal the deal.I used a regular mask. Any one will do. I rinsed my hair and oh my what is this silkiness? My scalp felt invigorated. Itâs like the heat with the mask built a shield.I plan on keeping this as long as itâll have me and use it at least once a week. Try different masks for fun. Some say it stopped working so Iâll update if this happens. Only used it once to fingers crossed!Anyone who is on the fence I say do it. You can always return it if you donât like it but I absolutely love this from my long, on the thicker side, thick hair.

Wonderful steamer
This is perfect for silk presses. It is lightweight and a great value for the money. THIS IS NOT A DRYER, it is a steamer to add moisture to hair while conditioning your hair. After rinsing your hair, proceed to blow drying or wrapping your hair and sit under a dryer. My hair is nice and soft with this steamer. It has a long cord (about 10 feet) so you can sit and watch tv comfortably.

It works but itâs not a steamer
Works as expected. THIS IS NOT A STEAMER itâs a heat caps for deep conditioning and will help those with low pro phosphorus hair. 4c hair types and Iâm sure others as well but I have Type 4c hair so I can only speak to that. I put it on for 30 minutes it worked very well for me but shut off before the time was done thatâs the only reason for 4 stars instead of five I am currently using it again at 30 mins on level 10. Itâs taking a bit to reheat so it could have shut off because it was hot. Doing some testing to see but so far itâs good

I’ve used this twice so far and absolutely love it. It is compact and still does the job as a salon. It’s super easy to use and the cap has a drawstring so you can tighten it to fit your head. highly recommend for deep conditioning

Super convenient and heats up really well. I purchased it to do at home Malibu C treatments as well as conditioning treatments. Much easier than a hood dryer and it takes up no space at all.

I love this product I use this every time I do my hair oil treatment it save me from having to keep the oil in my head for 4 hours so I just set the timer on here for one hour and you can adjust the size and it not heavy it works well and design makes it easy to clean out the clear part of the product and my hair seams to be moisturized using this product that keeping the plastic cap on my head alone and I do like how the cord is long because if I need to get up to get something that is close I can get my items without having to remove the heated cap

Great hair treatment tool!!! Built nice and sturdy for its intention. I got the purple one; itâs pretty in colour. This cap heats up nicely and is comfortable on the head. The drawstring helps tighten and great heat disbursed throughout the entire head, not just at the top/crown like I feared. It comes with a few hair caps so you donât mess up the inside with product but I used it with a conditioning cap and was quite happy with the result! Very happy to have this in my hair care routine!
