Wonderful product
This product was just what I wanted. I had my bangs botched and needed something to keep them down without having to use a Bobbie pin. I was able to have them down and sweep them to the side and stay that way. âCockatoo feathersâ eliminated. The hold tamed down my bangs but flexible enough that they werenât stiff. Although if you want a solid rock hard hold you just have to a more product. The hold last all day, no film or visible residue, not sticky or tacky and smells wonderful.

Good hold, good price, good matte finish
Been using this for years. If you have short hair, this is great for a pretty strong hold, but doesnt look like you have a ton of product in your hair, if any. It has a great matte finish and a good smell. It is a little sticky, but thats a good thing because it holds your style all day. Best part is that you can adjust it easly with your hands, even if they are dry. Its also well priced, way better than a salon product.

Great for fine hair
I put this in my hair when itâs still damp and then blow dry. Makes my thin fine hair look and feel thicker with more volume. And the price is fantastic. It works just as well as products 3 times the cost! So glad I found this!

Decent product
I decided to try out a different hair styling product. I typically use the Dove molding paste, but this caught my eye. It has a very nice and light scent, and it has a pretty nice hold. It is much more of a lotion than the Dove product I use, and I think this has a different hold and texture purpose, but it’s good none the less. I will stick with my Dove for my everyday go-to, but I like having this one for a fallback in case I just feel like using something different for whatever reason.

Great product
Great hold, easy to apply. The size of the container is within the TSA limit. I heard this product line was discontinued, but I hope that’s not the case. I bought 3 containers just in case. The 3.4oz jar lasted me about 4 months of use, and I use it 4-5 times a week. Does not add much shine to the hair, just enough weight to hold the hair in place without looking like it’s there.

A lighter, beachy paste
Iâve been using this product the last 20 years. When it first came out the paste was thick and the hold was strong. Back in the 2000âs I would sort of spike my hair up with this and it would hold em up just fine. Today, the paste is creamier, lighter and thinner. No shot at holding up spikes anymore. But thatâs fine with me cause those bad boy days of spiky hair is thankfully over. I just comb it over with a part now. And because Surf Hair is lighter and creamier now, I can comb it through my hair. Before, that would be difficult. So now, I mix it with another product that has stronger hold and Iâm still getting that same matte beachy texture with the hold I want. Scent has always been good, light and citrusy.

Not a good holding texture product
This did not work as I was hoping. I was looking for a texture putty hair creme to help style my short hair. It did not hold my style well and wore off easily during the day. It does smell good and was a good price. I will not purchase this again as it did not suit my desired outcome.
