GREAT DEODORANT SCENTS, BUT PACKAGING NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
Every Man Jack Men’s deodorants have a great masculine scent and last a long time. One star of rating removed for two reasons: It was nearly impossible to remove the caps to expose the deodorant. Anyone with arthritis will have a difficult time opening these. Having ‘ribs’ molded into cap would be a great help in gripping the cap. Also, a different shape tor the caps would also help, not only for removing the cap, but also to better match the contour of a person’s underarm. I was able to work around the first problem (after struggling to remove the cap) by taking a metal fingernail file and flattening out the 3 small ridges which hold the cap on so tight. It would be nice to have the manufacturer look at, and emulate, the design of the ‘speed stick’ deodorants, of which I always keep a variety of on-hand.

The Deodorant Upgrade I Didn’t Know I Needed
I’ve been using the same generic, “fresh” or “sport” scented antiperspirants for years without giving it much thought. I recently decided I wanted something a bit more grown-up, and I landed on this Every Man Jack Amber + Sandalwood deodorant. Honestly, it has completely exceeded my expectations and shown me what I was missing.The first thing you’ll notice is the scent, and it is absolutely fantastic. Itâs the perfect balance of warm amber and earthy, woody sandalwood. Itâs a masculine and sophisticated fragrance that smells clean and intentional, not like you’re trying to cover something up with a loud, chemical scent. It’s noticeable when you apply it, but it settles down throughout the day to a subtle, pleasant background note. It won’t clash with a cologne, but it’s great on its own.But a great scent is useless if the product doesn’t work. This is where the “upgraded formula” really shines. As an antiperspirant, it’s a workhorse. It keeps me dry and confident through long workdays and even during workouts. I haven’t tested the full 48-hour claim because I shower daily, but it easily handles a solid 24 hours without breaking a sweat, literally.The application is another huge plus. The “smooth glide” is legit. It goes on completely clear, feels comfortable on the skin without any stickiness or dragging, and it dries down quickly. Most importantly for me, it has not left a single white mark on any of my dark shirts, which has been a constant battle with other sticks.I also appreciate that it’s made without a bunch of harsh chemicals like parabens and phthalates, and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all.This deodorant just feels like a more thoughtful, refined choice. It performs flawlessly, smells incredible in a subtle, confident way, and feels great to use. If you’re ready to move on from the standard drugstore fare and use a product that makes you feel a little more put-together, I can’t recommend this one enough.

The struggle with the overly tight fitting caps make it a pain to open and use
Biggest thing I love about this antiperspirant/deodorant is it glides though my armpit hair effortlessly AND it doesn’t build up or clump. I can swipe it as many times as I want or need and it feels going on silky soft as I apply it. The major complaints I’ve had with a lot of deodorants I’ve tried is that they catch and pull on my skin, armpit hair, or worse yet the hairs start bunching and sticking together making a big mess. I swear the manufacturers either don’t test them out as far as glide goes or my best guess is they assume we all shave our pits lol.Scent wise I’m undecided as it’s a warm, musky, woodsy kind of fragrance. While I DO like a cologne of that combination or along those masculine smelling lines as a deodorant I’m not sure. To me mixing with my body chemistry wearing it through out my strenuous put it to the test for deodorant endurance it “almost” borders on a slightly off or body odor kind of smell. It’s not raunchy smelling by any means it’s just when I sweat and towards the end of a hard day it tips slightly as I smell myself questioning is it still working or do I need a shower. I typically wear deodorants that have a stronger more fresh or masculine cologne type fragrance I guess.

Iâve used Every Man Jack deoderants before, so I wasnât expecting the battle I had with the cap on this Amber and Sandalwood antiperspirant. Itâs unusually tight, and compared to their other deodorants, this version really makes you work for it. Once I got it off, itbecame a little easier but it’s dfinitely annoying when youâre half awake and trying to get out the door.That said, the scent is solid. Itâs warm and woodsy with a bit of depth, so if you donât wear cologne, it can stand alone just fine. If you do, it pairs better with something musky or earthy. I wouldnât mix it with anything too citrusy or fresh. The antiperspirant itself does its job without fuss. Itâs your typical aluminum formulated deodorant, nothing fancy, but it kept me dry and smelling decent through a full day without needing to reapply. Eight dollars for a stick of deodorant is a little high though and unless this lasts a long time, it might be a bit too high. The other deodorants from them that I currently use have lasted a LONG time, so these should be a good value.
