Wonderful facial mister, but instructions are useless!
I’m loving this versatile, little nano facial mister by Duuoo. It’s been a bit of trial and error since the instructions are printed in a faded white font on a light green cardstock insert which makes them completely illegible. A bit disappointing to say the least since I would like to know what products are acceptable to atomize and exactly how to preserve the life of this gadget by using said products correctly.This mister comes packaged beautifully and sealed with shrink wrap. Upon opening the box, you can see everything is fitted snuggly in its own compartment. You get the handheld mister base, two different sized interchangeable reservoirs with lids and the charger cord. You’ll need a charger head if you want to plug this into an electrical outlet to charge.The base is sturdy and easy to hold. It doesn’t slip or slide in your hand. The button is located at the front of the base. Its a different color and easy to reach. There are two speeds – low and high. It’s not terribly loud or annoying even on the higher speed. This atomizer reminds me of an airbrush machine with a trigger that you need to press and hold down to start and stop the flow. It hydrates your skin by releasing this lovely, fine mist that feels wonderful against your skin. I didn’t know until I read another review that you can adjust the fineness of the spray by turning the valve on the back. Great to know since it is not intuitive (and did I mention, no readable instructions?) I’ve tried using it with warm filtered water, facial toner, and facial serum mixed with water. It’s all very spa-like and relaxing. I’ve also used this to re-hydrate my hair for styling.I so wanted to give this mister five stars. The device rocks and the price is great, but with no clear-cut directions, I had to take off a star.

DUUOO Nano Facial Mister
The DUUOO Nano Facial Mister makes me feel so spoiled and is an upgrade to my skincare routine! It works so well! There is a high level and a low level and the mist can be adjusted in fineness – it comes with 2 different plastic cups (that have screw-on caps so you don’t have to worry about spills!) to hold anything from distilled water to serums and toners. I first tried it with distilled water and it was so refreshing and cooling – I next tried it as part of my skincare routine and filled the plastic cup with some of my toner – I felt so spoiled! It did a great job of evenly applying my toner in a fine mist that sunk into my skin so nicely. Its easy to rinse out and clean, its compact so its not too much to leave out on my vanity or take along with me on the go, and it comes with a USB-C charging cable. I like that this elimnates the need for cotton rounds or similar, or even splashging it on your face from your hands, to apply toners – just a direct fine mist of the toner right to your skin.The mister works incredibly well so I am not docking points – its fantastic! – but the directions are mostly impossible to read even when you use the magnify feature on your phone! My husband is familiar with airbrushes so he intuitively knew how to use the mister and showed me – you screw in a container filled with the liquid of your choise, then you turn the dial on tghe back valve to adjust the fineness of the spray and then you need to push in the valve on the back to make it spray. Powered mister for face (or plants!?)
This is an interesting misting device designed similarly to an airbrush.Assembly is simple, just screw on one of the reservoirs. They are identical in all but size, and have a snap-on lid to keep from sloshing water out while in use. The lids do not have gaskets so will not seal well enough to store liquid in them safely for longer than the usage time, which is just as well as you should really empty (and clean) them out after use to avoid issues with mold or bacteria. The volume isn’t tremendous, however this produces such a fine mist that for just your face you’re unlikely to need more water than what the smaller reservoir can hold for a session.The base/handle has a simple button that cycles through off/on-high/on-low. There’s a noticeable difference in sound between the two speeds (and this is not what I’d call a quiet device as it makes a steady buzzing sound) but less noticeable difference in the amount of mist produced – however you can adjust the mist further by rotating the nozzle. I tested with just plain water, which was lovely sprayed on my face on this hot summer day. Note that mist is not immediately produced – you need to press the trigger button at the back of the upper section to get water added to the air flowing through the system. This makes it very easy to control when and where it sprays.I actually ordered this more as a plant mister, and it’s fantastic for that as well as for spraying your face/skin. I just don’t recommend any additives if you’re spraying plant leaves (lol).The box includes instructions which everyone has already mentioned are nearly impossible to read, as well as a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging the device. You will need your own power brick.Note: I did not have a USB-A brick nearby, so I tried using a USB-C to C cable in the brick I had immediately available. This unfortunately did NOT charge the device (as indicated by a lack of red pulsing light during charging). I was however able to use the included A to C cable to charge via my PC’s USB-A port, so that’s another option in lieu of a dedicated USB-A brick.
