Just what I needed
Best electric brush I have owned

The brush I didn’t know I needed
I have been hunting for a sustainable and good toothbrush. I have tried different manual ones but lately felt like my teeth weren’t getting clean. I had used plastic electric toothbrushes before but this is my first sonic brush and what a difference it made from the first use. The heads are replaceable and soft. It has multiple functions for sensitive teeth to polishing and whitening. It’s supposed to hold a charge for many days and so far it’s going strong. I hope my dentist sees a difference!

This literally stopped working within a month. And the wood grain is plastic. A complete waste of money.

My teeth feel so clean
And I can tell Iâm ridding my mouth of buildup and tartar every time I use it. Great product. Love having an eco-friendly option.

Decent Travel Toothbrush
Great simple electric toothbrush. Its small enough that it can be used for traveling–especially since it comes with a carrying case which can hold the toothbrush, some of the brush heads as well as the charging cable. The brush worked effectively and could be adjusted to multiple speeds. Overall, a decent toothbrush set.

works okay, but bamboo PRINT.
[Update to my initial review below; I had initially rated this 4 stars, however after some further examination, while the case and toothbrush head units are mostly bamboo, the body of the toothbrush itself (at least the one I received) is actually completely plastic with a fairly realistic bamboo print. And after re-reading the description, this is sort of skirted around by calling it a “bamboo design”. So I am dropping my rating because it did NOT necessarily meet my expectations based on the description. I had the privilege of ordering this for review, however if I had purchased it under the intent of getting an actual bamboo toothbrush, I probably would have returned it.]This is my first “sonic” toothbrush, so I can’t compare this against any major big brands, though I will say that it does clean my teeth while simultaneously filling my head with reverberation, and it actually left my teeth feeling pretty clean (unlike some other novelty toothbrushes I’ve tried), so in that sense it’s the real deal. I actually find myself brushing my teeth for a longer period of time with this, just because I like going over each tooth and letting it do its work instead of doing the manual labor of broad strokes.A few other things:-At first I thought there was something wrong with it because it would intermittently pause while I was using it, but I found that every 30 seconds it will pause for a split second, as sort of a time indicator, and then shut off automatically at 2 minutes. It also sort of mentions this in the product description, but now I know what they’re talking about.-Regarding waterproofness, I have run it under the tap a few times longer than I should, and it still works, though I have not attempted completely submerging it fully. The USB port on the bottom does have a little protective cover on it to keep it dry (synthetic material, not bamboo). I also have been using it for about a week and so far have not needed to charge it.-The brush heads, while listed as “soft” in one area and “moderately stiff” in another, are definitely softer than a “medium” standard toothbrush, but still seem to work okay. With the amount of vibration it does, I don’t know that I would want something too much stiffer, anyway. The bristles are (sort of ironically, since some brush heads actually use bamboo fiber) synthetic. The instructions didn’t really specify the difference between the two included heads, but they both work about the same IMO.-It does vibrate enough to echo through my whole head, but not in a bad way.-One of the brush heads had a rough spot on it, but as noted in the description they’re made (mostly) of wood, so they’re not going to be plastic-smooth. The rough part was not uncomfortable to use and did not affect functionality.- Regarding replacement heads, if you do a search for MgcSto (the brand name), it comes up with several replacement head packages. Also, since I feel that the driver inside this toothbrush has sort of a “generic” mount on it that is similar to several other brands, you can almost guess at which heads will work just based on their shape in the pics, and the shape of the shaft. One of their products even states the heads work with Philips HX369 and 6730.. I can’t vouch for that, but it at least opens up some options.-While I can’t compare this against the more expensive leading brands, I’ve had a few cheap electric toothbrushes (the kind that run off 1 or 2 AA batteries), and this one far surpasses those in functionality.-There are 5 modes, but realistically I only use 1 or 2. Some, like “polish” and “massage”, aren’t anything I would seek out on a regular basis.A quick search shows that the going price of $30 – $40 is sort of on par with several other models that most likely use the same internal parts, so it’s probably a matter of preference- whether you want a standard plastic toothbrush, or want to experience the novelty of the techno-organic fusion of half-bamboo, half-machine. If you already have an ultrasonic toothbrush, maybe this one would not impress you as much, but as my first foray into the head-jarringly ultrasonic cleaning experience, I guess my biggest takeaway here is that it’s probably a gateway into the world of fancy oral hygiene.. I’m happy to use it as-is, and will continue to use it while I start saving up for one of those upper-crust ones whose prices are in the triple digits, at which point I will forsake my organic roots and become one with the new Ultrasonic Order of Dentistry. Please note that I had the privilege of ordering this item for review, so cost is not factored into my rating, however as noted above, at time of order it was within a reasonable range of similar products.

Odd instructions, no-name toothbrush
I had some reservations about using this toothbrush. I took a chance on this with no reviews. The toothbrush comes nicely packaged in a wooden (or bamboo?!) box. There is the base, charger cord, and two brush heads included. The toothbrush started right away when the power button was pressed, and it is easy to move between the different settings – all pros. I found the instructions in the box, which were a set of poorly written (typed) instructions with errors throughout. There is no information on where to order replacement brush heads for this toothbrush – what happens when the two provided need to be replaced? This is a nice toothbrush, but I still have some reservations about using it after trying it.
