Batteries are old
These thermometers are good but the batteries are not. Both thermometers arrived with nearly dead batteries. There were spare batteries with each, and a precision screwdriver to enable you to change them.When the batteries are low, the display fades away, and this is worse when the thermometer is in a freezer.Put in new batteries and everything works fine.

Lasted only 3 1/2 months
I bought these in March and here it is July 8th and neither of them works anymore. I was happy with them when I got them as they worked well initially, and they had a screwdriver and replacement batteries but now 3 1/2 months later, neither work.

Good thermometers – generous deal
This is a good deal because you not only get two refrigerator thermometers but you also get two extra batteries and a screwdriver to boot at a low price. The thermometers seems to be accurate. I like that it shows you the low and the high temperatures. Good to see how your refrigerator or freezer is behaving over time and to make sure the fridge for example always stays below 40 degrees.

Handy way to make sure fridge/freezer are cool!
I wanted a way to monitor the temps in my freezer so I ordered this set of two thermometers. Now I can see how cold the freezer AND the fridge are. Nice. The batteries were very low in both when I opened them but happily the company saw this coming so they included an extra battery for each one. At room temperature they vary from each other 7/10 of a degree Fahrenheit. In the freezer they are 1.3 degrees different and in the fridge they are within 3/10 of a degree. Way more accurate than I need for my purposes. I have other digital thermometers for outside and they are as much as 3 and 5 degrees variance. Overall this is a great set of under $10 tools and I highly recommend them.

Both already dead at 6 months
Really love that this was a two pack since I have a mini fridge as well as the regular one in the kitchen. Both seem to keep relatively accurate temps. I like that you can clear the history with on button press, and that it will tell you the high and the low so you know what range the fridge is operating in. Each thermometer even came with an extra battery (CR2032), and a little screwdriver to open the back to replace it when it’s time. I like that there are multiple ways to either hang it up in the fridge (for wire shelves) or sit it with a kickstand on a glass shelf. It will tell you either Fahrenheit or Celsius, too. Can’t beat these for the price! UPDATE: Batteries lasted 6 months (or less – I only just noticed there was no readout on one and when I checked the others, those were dead too) and now they’re both dead. I guess that’s why extra batteries are sent. If you don’t mind replacing batteries every 5-6 mos, then these work okay. Would’ve been nice if they were rechargeable.
