Better and Easier Than Regular Hair Dye
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this shampoo. Hiwecer, I am absolutely glad I did, it colored my gray wonderfully. I’m extremely impressed. It’s easy to use; however, not trusting it would do the job on my gray roots; I over did the amount required. It took me awhile to removed the excess shampoo. I learned the hard way….a little goes a long way. Adjust your amount based on how much gray you want to cover and the length of your hair. The Dark Brown isn’t as dark as I needed it to be. My hair dark brown and this one has a hint of red. It’s a little lighter than my dark brown hair. Or maybe I need to leave it in a bit longer than what the instructions indicated. Either way I will continue to use the product instead of buying hair dye at the store. I do recommend this product.

This is a wonderful advancement in home hair color. The color I chose is a little darker than I wanted but still a beautiful color.Very easy to apply and rinse out. I left it on for the maximum time and it covered all my gray. It looked good for about a month, but I is not permanent dye, and I think thatâs a good amount of time. It left my hair feeling soft and shiny.

I love this product. It is temporary, for me lasts about two weeks. Works best on natural hair, the dyed hair was a VERY dark purple. As time went on it goes from purple to a red.

Easy to use and great color
I had been using henna for five years, but grew tired of the five hour process each month and hour minimum process every couple of weeks for roots. My mom tried another brand of color, depositing shampoo and loved it, but it did not have my shade so found this product.Here are the positives: it is so much easier and quicker than even a box dye (and certainly henna!). The color deposits well and leaves your hair, shiny and soft with no chemical smell (I am very sensitive to smells so this is a real plus for me). I am 65 years old and my roots are white instead of a lovely gray. While the root area tends to be brighter using this product, I still feel it covers gray very well.The not so good: if you are not used to coloring your hair, you will find the process very messy. Be sure to wear old clothing and spread towels on the floor and countertop, and where the gloves provided. Secondly, although I am not unhappy with the final color, my hair tends to light red with any product so this is a little brighter than I want. My plan is to get a second bottle of brown and either combine the two products or simply run my hands through my hair to with the brown to create more depths and a deeper color.

Pretty Good Stuff
Okay so letâs be real about this, it was not really that much easier than box dye in my opinion. You donât have to mix it, but itâs still messy and can stain, and itâs not that much faster either. Howeverâ¦The good news is that it works! The end product is evenly colored and that was even over previously colored hair. I will use it again and see if the problem was just my learning curve. Iâm also curious to see how long the color lasts. The product has serious potential to be great, I just need to learn the best way to apply it.

OMG!!! This stuff really works! I was a little skeptical about how well a shampoo in dye would work. I have spots of âdye resistantâ hair, especially on the front of my head, in my bangs where itâs like totally obvious. I used the wine red because Iâve been a red head most of my life and I followed the direction completely. It rinsed out very easily and left my hair feeling clean and soft, not at all dyed. And when I looked in the mirror, I was a red head again! Even my dye resistant spots semi took. I couldnât be more pleased! And hereâs the thing. The box says for use on white, yellow or gray hair. Well, I definitely have gray hair, but Iâm primarily brunette, and it still worked beautifully! Yes, the brunette part of my hair is definitely darker than the top of my head which was predominantly gray, but it still looks awesome! So, in conclusion, for anyone thinking about trying this for the first time, or if youâve used shampoo-in dyes before, this one is worth every cent! Just my opinion, but I was so happy with the results that I bought the purple for when Iâm feeling a bit wild!
