Pleasantly surprised
My expectations were low as I’ve tried aluminum free deodorants before with no success. This REALLY worked for me. Very light fragrance, three swipes, and a quick underarm rub to evenly distribute and that was it. Four days straight of temps between mid 80’s to low 90’s, and no problem. No BO and hardly any perspiration! No need to reapply. This actually worked better than all my deo with different types of aluminum. Will try another fragrance just for kicks, but I’m very happy with this brand!

I got this brand of deodorant for my teen daughter. We were wanting to get a more natural and healthy deodorant for her, specifically one that was aluminum free. This one fit the bill.We got the Unicorn scent which is really nice. This one sounded really good and I like it more than the original scent we tried. It has a really natural almost yummy smell.We tend to run late to school and she was forgetting her deodorant too often, so I put it in my purse for her to use on the way to her school. Invariably, she left it in the car on its side. Apparently it melts easily and solidifies in whatever position was in. After 3 melted and mostly unusable sticks, we now manage to leave it in my or her purse, not the car!It is super smooth and feels good on the skin. It has been effective for her. This one she likes enough to stop resisting us and wear every day.I definitely recommend, and keep it out of heat or youâll have what is virtually a smooth, nice smelling, lotion bar instead.

Great option for natural deodarant
This natural deodorant seems to last slightly longer than other natural brands I have used. Due to not having antiperspirant, you still sweat and need to re apply occasionally. The scent is light and I have no noticed any staining on my clothes due to the charcoal like I have had with other brands. The price point is comparable to other natural brands. Goes on really smooth and doesn’t feel sticky or thick.

No Stinky Pits!
Live in Arizona and we get pretty sweaty here. My family stopped using anti-antiperspirants a while ago. When you stop using and anti-antiperspirant, it takes a few weeks for your body to start working with a deodorant, so you don’t sweat. We started using HELLO products because they are Leaping Bunny (Cruelty Free International) certified. That may not mean anything to most, but to animal rights ppl, vegans and vegetarians, it is important to have that certification. Anyway, the Clean & Fresh is my families favorite scent, we put it on in the morning and do not have to reapply, even with 110+ degree temps. None of us have any stinky pits and our arm pits barely, if at all sweat.

Like many of you, I used Dove, Secret, and/or Degree. However, after hearing warnings about the potential harm of aluminum salts, I felt compelled to make a change. I started searching for a more ‘natural deodorant’âsomething cleanerâand thatâs when I found Hello Deodorant.At first, it seemed great:- The scent was lovely (Charcoal Fresh and Clean)- It glided on smoothly.- For a while, it actually worked.But hereâs the catch: deodorants only mask odor, while antiperspirants actually stop sweating.Before long, I found myself needing to reapply Hello deodorant constantly. Even then, it only covered the smell without addressing the sweat. My nice blouses and bras paid the price. The deodorant clung to the fabric, making it nearly impossible to wash out. I had to hand-wash my favorite bras multiple times just to remove the greasy, white residue, and my work shirts were left with embarrassing sweat stains.I tried everything to âdetoxâ my pits:- Scrubs- Exfoliators- Even a benzoyl peroxide mask (which does help reduce sweating, to an extent)But nothing worked. The deodorant faded after just an hourâan hour!âeven when I was simply sitting at my desk.As someone who works in marketing, Iâm always aware of “greenwashing.” Yet, I fell for it. I wanted to believe this “all-natural” product would work for me. But if youâre a sweater, deodorants just wonât cut itâitâs like spraying Febreze on a dumpster. So Iâm back to my tried-and-true Dove, Secret, and/or Degree antipersperant brand.Little known fact, antiperspirants didnât become mainstream until the mid-1900s; before that, people relied solely on “natural deodorants.” Unfortunately, modern society has conditioned us to always smell and look good. BO and sweat stains are a big no-no in the real world.**Key Takeaway:**If it says Deodorant, itâs just perfume. If it says Antiperspirant, itâll actually help with sweat. Pick and choose your battles.

Does not work well even though it smells nice
I bought this because of the Yuka score ad I wanted to stay away from deodorants with aluminum. Itâs ok, a bit hard to put in, smells nice but it doesnât really work well. Iâm not sweaty but donât want any armpit funk at the end of the day and this doesnât work for that.My daughter suggested Old Spice aluminum free and it had a decent Yuka rating so thatâs my next try.Now I have a full deodorant not used and a nearly full one that I will have to throw out.
