Smells nice and adds light volume to fine hair
This heat protectant spray smells nice and adds light volume to fine hair, especially for that second-day texture. A little goes a long wayâusing too much can leave hair feeling sticky, heavy, or greasy. It absorbs well and works nicely on thinner hair types, but may not be ideal for thicker hair or high-heat styling above 350°F. T

Too heavy for me.
This just doesnât work for my hair type and Iâm bummed! It smells pleasent and I like to use thermal protection oils. I like the sprayer, too, it sprays pretty evenly. But, this is just much too heavy for my wavy hair. Itâs greasy on me, but I think that those with coarse hair could use this and have success.

Nice heat protection
I have fairly frizzy hair so I have to flat iron it all the time and I like to use heat protectant to help stop breakage. I really like this heat protectant! The spray goes on so nicely! It lightly coats a lot of my hair at once. Other brands that Iâve used spray a lot in one area. This one distributes much more evenly in my hair. It smells nice and makes my hair feel soft after Iâve dried it. It doesnât make my hair look sticky or greasy. You get a big bottle for the price. Iâm happy with it!

Very oily; online description does not match bottle
This product is supposed to be for medium hair, but I would say this is meant only for thick, course, dry hair. It’s very, very oily. I was surprised to see the bottle proudly showing coconut oil, argon oil, and castor oil, because the online description never mentioned coconut or argon oils. Argon oil is very heavy works best on thick hair; I never would have ordered this if the online description had listed argon oil as an ingredient. If you have very coarse dry hair, this might work but for anyone else, it’s a grease fest.

Leaves hair soft and less frizzy
I actually really liked this heat protect spray. I have very thick, wavy frizz prone hair and live in the Deep South. This helps protect my hair from heat styling and minimizes frizz. The scent is mild and it doesnât leave my hair feeling greasy. I donât think it would be fantastic for thin or easily weighed down hair though. I didnât notice any build up but I do regularly use a clarifying shampoo.

Too greasy
I wanted to like this heat protection oil spray, but it’s not for me. First, the whole spray nozzle came off while trying to remove the protective cover. The consistency and smell of the product is too much like baby oil, which concerned me. It’s heavy. The biggest problem though was it makes my hair look flat and greasy. This is not for fine hair. The hair near the crown looked weighed down and more greasy than moisturized. I usually use an oil on my hair at the end of the drying process to break up my curl cast, however I sprayed this on before drying to protect my hair from the heat. Even though I used a diffuser, I am still applying heat to my curls. I’m not really sure how much it protects my hair from the heat, but it just didn’t look good. Even though I just washed my hair, I immediately sprayed in some dry shampoo to reduce the effect of the oil. Maybe if you have more thick, textured hair, this may be a great product for you. It also may work if you regularly straighten your hair. But, it’s not good for us curly girls.

Moisturizing but better for thicker hair
This oil spray goes on smoothly and adds a moisturizing coating to hair. While this did help to add a protective layer to my hair before blow drying, the oil based formula for medium hair was a little too rich for my thinner, straight hair and overuse made my hair appear greasy. I think this product would be great for someone with thicker or more textured hair.

Effective and takes just a little bit
If you use this very lightly, you get exactly what it advertises. I use my straightener on a fairly low setting to get the frizz out and this spray seriously makes that easier. It gleams and is so straight and smooth. Without it, I have to use my straightener several more times on the same spots.Just use it lightly or spray it into your hands first then use your fingers to brush it in.
