Deva Nutrition is excited to introduce its higher potency Vitamin D supplement that provides 2400 IU of vegan suitable vitamin D per tablet. Scientists have found that people who live in cool climates -whether omnivore, vegetarian or vegan- are more prone to vitamin D deficiency due to insufficient sun exposure. All this is in spite of the fact that some fish contain vitamin D and, most milk, cheese and ice cream are fortified with Vitamin D for those who follow an omnivore or a vegetarian diet. For vegans rules are the same. People who do not get adequate sun exposure or Vitamin D fortified/rich foods are at the risk of developing Vitamin D deficiency.People with limited sun exposure may also consider supplementation, especially if they are home bound and live in Northern Latitudes. People with dark skin may not get enough Vitamin D in their system if their sun exposure is limited.
Since Vitamin D is also an important factor in healthy metobolism maintaining normal Vitamin D levels is recommended by many nutritionists and health professionals.
DEVA Vitamin D is 100% animal free, and guaranteed for purity, freshness and labeled potency. Remember all DEVA Products are 100% vegan, vegetarian and are registered by the Vegan Society, the non-profit organization that actually invented the word “vegan”.

Excellent Vegan Vitamin D Supplement
I have been taking Deva Vegan Vitamin D supplements for several months now and have noticed a significant improvement in my overall health and wellbeing. As a vegan, it can be challenging to get enough vitamin D from food sources alone, so I appreciate having this supplement as an option. The tablets are easy to swallow and have no unpleasant aftertaste. I like that they provide 2400 IU per tablet, which is a higher dosage than many other vitamin D supplements on the market. This means that I can take fewer tablets and still get the amount of vitamin D I need.Overall, I highly recommend Deva Vegan Vitamin D supplements to anyone looking for a high-quality and effective vegan vitamin D supplement. It has made a noticeable difference in my health and I will continue to use it as part of my daily routine.

Great little vegan D-2 vitamin at an amazing price!
I went for a physical and was told that my levels of vitamin D were low for my blood. My doctor wanted to prescribe some vitamin D pills for me, but I told him I wouldn’t take them because they are not vegan. I used the Amazon app on my phone to see what vitamin D pills were available and showed him–he said to try these because they have a high level of vitamin D–in a couple of weeks I will get my blood checked again–but in the meantime–the delivery was fast, the pills are not horse pills at all but are very small and easy to swallow (and easy on the stomach) and, thus far, they have been great!!!!

Helps libido and mood
Helps libido and mood unlike d3. D2 is better for human supplementation! I take 4 of these a day though.

My #1… and my only Top Shelf choice ð
OMG, I feel like I am spamming DEVA with 5 star reviews LOL. I love the DEVA brand and this supplement is no expectation. It is very tiny and easy to swallow (even without water, which you probably shouldn’t lol). Vitamin d2 specifically is the one my doctor nags me constantly for not getting enough of to the extreme that she wrote me a prescription for it. So now, I just take these instead in combination with their other supplements.I swear I am not sponsored by Deva (as of yet, but waiting lol) but I genuinely love their brand, the products, safe packaging, true to label ingredients, and I would recommend these to Vegans, Carnivores, and whoever just want clean supplements.Always a pleasure to review anything from this brand, best prices and top quality supplements. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

I feel better when I take them.
Research has found that D2 works with the minerals in the body that strengthens the bones.

Vitamin D supplements DO help “wintertime blues”,research indicates. And,i agree.
This vitamin D is NOT from sheep-cruelty,as vitamin D3 is(derived from lanolin).I have been using a D supplement for years and noticed it helped with the general(malaise)”depressed”feeling I’m familiar, due,in part to lack of sunlight;the American indoor lifestyle and the resulting lack of sunlight might be(or,IS)why so many people are on anti-depressant prescriptions. The D supplement doesn’t make you feel”happy”or giddy or do things a prescription might or might not do,but does nurture your natural healthy state, which is really all most people need. And prescriptions also can give side-effects which Nobody needs.I’ve gradually switched most of my supplements to vegan products and this one suited what I was looking for,and I most likely will use this as my preferred vitamin D supplement. In fact this is a good alternative(or the only answer,if you only get bad effects from prescriptions, like I do);but this is a good alternative to a prescription which may or may not be helping”the blues”,or if it has very undesireable side effects. It is also a better “first choice”than the prescription pad, which is often a doctor’s first and only answer. I’m not giving medical advice and apparently there are people who benefit, and maybe get no bad effects from prescriptions. But I am not one of them, and I know many other people also cannot use a prescription successfully. For people that have “down”days or “down”moods that last;this might help in those cases.I know for myself, the way a D supplement helps is an improvement, and I also get very little sunlight, because sunlight triggers migraines and I’m light sensitive. And most Americans have a typically ‘indoor-lifestyle’. A D supplement might be,or IS,a very uncomplicated and easy answer to something that might seem overwhelming to some people, because “depression”is at epidemic proportions in the U.S.,and I’m sure some percentage of the cases are severe depression, but I think most people do not have serious depression but go to a doctor for it anyway (and it is true that prescriptions can have effects which complicate and increase what began as simple, mild depression,or just wintertime blues or a lasting”down” mood or feeling of sadness. Unfortunately,as I know from my own experiences, they don’t publicize this or even anticipate this will happen. Then when it does happen, what results is trial and error treatment, with the patient as the guinea-pig). And I know this happens not infrequently. Vitamin D can be the answer when no answer,or only the wrong answer, can be found.
