I’ve purchased well over a dozen IPL devices on Amazon, and out of all the ones I’ve tested, used, kept, or returned, this TMOMT device is by far the most effective. That’s why I decided to write a review. The PROS of this unit far outweigh the CONS, so here’s a quick summary if you want to skip the details:Highly Recommended 5/5 – It’s a clear winner and well worth the expense. Just get it. 5 STARS.First off: “Do IPL home devices really remove hair permanently?” Based on 3 years of personal experience with a variety of devices, my answer is yes—IPL can permanently remove hair in most areas and significantly reduce even the most stubborn hair, provided you’re patient and dedicated. You need to commit a couple of hours per week to see results. It’s not a short, easy process, but if you stick with it, you’ll achieve great results at a fraction of the cost and hassle of salon treatments.PROS of the TMOMT device:1. OPT SHR Technology – This advanced technology improves on older IPL models by reducing hair singeing and delivering more energy to the follicle. It’s more comfortable, so you can increase the intensity level more easily. Even at level 9, the pulses are gentle and pain-free. Those with sensitive skin should have minimal issues. Start with test patches on level 1 and gradually increase to find what works best for you.2. Large Head Size – The pulsed light lens area is impressively large, allowing for faster sessions. I haven’t used a unit with a flash size this large.3. High Power Output – This device is the most powerful home unit I’ve tested. It delivers 25 Joules at level 9, which is incredible. I measured it drawing about 87W per flash at level 9—10 Watts more than my second-best device. I can pull out hair with my fingers a day or two after treatment at this level. It’s fantastic.4. Fast Flash Speed – The device maintains rapid flashes even as it heats up. At levels 1-4, it flashes about twice per second. At level 9, it flashes every 2.5 seconds. My next-best device slows down significantly when hot, which can be frustrating. The speed of this unit is impressive.5. Long, Thick Power Cords – The power cords are long and thick, which makes the device easy to use and durable. Other devices often have thin, flimsy cords.6. Efficient Cooling – The device doesn’t overheat. I use it for up to 10 minutes, then let it cool for 10 minutes. The base has a built-in fan, and the hand-piece also has a fan to cool the bulb. It’s very efficient, Though, I advise strongly that you give it periodic rests, at higher levels especially, to avoid damaging the bulb.7. Attachments for Additional Treatments – This unit comes with attachments for skin rejuvenation and skin brightening. The rejuvenation attachment may improve fine lines, wrinkles, and acne. The brightening attachment has worked on a couple of spots that have bothered me for years.8. Unlimited Flashes – While this feature is heavily advertised by many brands and is a big selling point, in my experience other parts of these types of devices often fail before the flashes run out, but it’s still a nice bonus.CONS and Suggested Improvements which I have forwarded to the seller:1. No Built-in Skin Protection – The device flashes anytime you press the button, whether on or off the skin. This can be problematic for inexperienced users who might accidentally flash themselves. For experienced users, it’s a trade-off between convenience and control. I’ve had a few accidental flashes myself. Wear the protective eye-ware. I think it’s better to have the skin-protection feature built-in.2. Lens Attachments Detach Easily – The lens attachments are held in place by magnets, but they sometimes detach during use due to friction. Stronger magnets would help. I’ve started taping the attachments on to avoid frustration. This must be improved in future upgrades.3. No Automatic Shut-Off Timer – Unlike most devices, this one doesn’t automatically shut off after a few minutes of inactivity. You have to manually power it down using the on/off button on the display. This feature must be added to future models.Final Thoughts:Shave before starting your IPL session, exfoliate once or twice a week, use eye protection, stay diligent with your routine, and don’t expect immediate results. You need patience, dedication, and determination. Stick with it, and you’ll achieve the desired outcome.5/5 STARS

Not Even Close To Beauty Salon Grade
This IPL laser machine is not as powerful as expected. I ordered it thinking that the energy output would actually be as advertised: 25 J on its highest setting. But as far as I can tell it just isn’t. It is surprisingly similar to my much smaller yet high quality IPL device that has a 3 J energy level. Sure, this machine does look quite fancy at first and has a very user friendly design. But despite its appearance, the beauty salon grade claim is just not there, in my opinion at least.
