Fine hair protected
Great product. This was my first purchase in this brand and it definitely worked as marketed. My hair is fine with dry ends so I’ve been working to protect and add moisture. This product left no weight on my hair yet smoothed it out. I first used a thickening cream by another brand. Then put this in before my blow dry with the round brush dryer/curler. Worked great. In fact, going to check out other products in this line. Lastly, I read a review about the smell. I have a wolf nose and it smells normal even pleasant.

I tried this after the brand of blow out crepe Iâd been using for years discontinued the line. Iâm never trying anything else! This blow out styling crepe is amazing!!!I have very fine, straight hair and need all of the volume and shine I can get. This does both and helps tame frizzy flyaways. My hair stays silky smooth all day and even holds the style better than my old creams. Iâve tried a bunch of blow out cremes lately because I canât get my old one and this is the only one thatâs light enough with my fine hair to not get sticky or weigh my hair down. Itâs love!

I read almost all the reviews for Kenra Perfect Blowout and came to the conclusion I just had to try it for myself to make up my mind. I already have had good experience in the past with Kenra products. My hair is not super thick, just an average thickness. But the texture has changed in the last year. I donât know if itâs due to Covid. Itâs become super fine and very frizzy no matter how many deep moisturizing masks I put on it. A hairdresser friend of mine says many of her clients say the same thing, young and old. I was hoping the blowout crème could help calm it, and it really did. Some reviews say it was too sticky. Thatâs because you used too much, sis. Always start out with a small amount because itâs easier to add more if needed. My hair hangs between my shoulder blades. I started out using about a dime size of product but now Iâm up to a nickel. Also this works better if you use the high heat on your hair dryer. If youâre like me, you donât like to do that. But Iâve compared the different settings and you just get a better result with more heat. The scent is light, kind of makes me want a sugar cookie. Bottom line is this solved my frizz problem and lasts until I wash my hair again, which is usually every three days using dry shampoo as needed. Hope this helps you click that add-to-cart button!

Great for relaxed hair
I have relaxed hair and wanted to try blowouts to cut down on using too many heat tools. This product works very well with my Revlon hot air brush. My hair felt smooth and lightweight. I do wish it would tame my ends better so I think using a serum afterwards would help.

Works well but the smell is awful
I don’t know why people are saying the smell is good. I think it’s terrible. It’s sickening sweet, candyish, and really unsophisticated. It smells like something Yankee Candle would call “Cotton Candy”.BUT it works really well, has a nice, light hold, and doesn’t feel waxy or greasy. Also cuts down drying time. Gives a little bit of body which is exactly what I wanted.Would be perfect if it had a lighter, more fresh scent. I don’t know much about Kenra products, so I’m not sure if this is sort of their signature scent, but if it is, I won’t be buying anything else from them.

Great for fine hair
Just like every fine haired person….looking for a blow dry lotion that’s not sticky or greasy…and this does the job. I get a little texture and frizz control. It’s just enough. My hair type is fine, not thin. I have unprocessed natural hair. I use moisture shampoo and light conditioner. I use a pea size drop on wet hair and blow-dry with a big round boars hair and plastic blow dry brush. I get just the right amount of volume and control. I do not use hairspray. My hair looks soft, shiny and under control in the Houston, TX humidity. I would recommend this product and I will purchase again.

Certainly wouldnât say I love it, but I donât hate it either. Itâs just okay. Works well as a heat protector I suppose, but doesnât do much more for your hair in the way of softness or shininess. Kind of smells like Swedish berries a bit, and still smells nice after blow drying and flat ironing. I think because of the slight âholdâ it has, it takes away any potential for making your hair shiny which is what I was hoping for. Wonât be recommending it to any friends and wouldnât buy again. I have drug store products that are much more inexpensive that work better I find. Not worth the price, in my opinion and definitely isnât going to be the first product I reach for when blow drying my hair. I think I would use it more as a leave in if air drying my hair, the gold would help with frizz I think.
