Read the Description for mounting before buying
Great tool. First and foremost is READ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ON AMAZON. Specifically tells you if it will fit on your door jamb. Second it’s not meant to put your full weight into it, hence why it vibrates apart. That’s not how a massage gun operates and why it has different attachments. Yes it’s stationary, not robotic. Just takes common sense setting it up and using it. Mine works great. Some people need to be creative if necessary. I didn’t need to read directions, just looked at picture on box. Easy peasy. Judging by bad reviews and pictures sent in people don’t know what they’re doing. Ask for help if needed. Does Monkey Mount mean a monkey could do it? Only regreat is I didn’t buy it when it was $20 dollars cheaper. Darn tariffs. Only incovience is needs to be moved to get to different parts of the body.

Good product. Really easy to take on and off
The mount did not work on my doorframe but I spoke with customer service and they sent me out some wedge inserts. Once I had those it worked perfectly. My doorframes are not quite 90 degrees so it was slipping off, I hadnât noticed that they had mentioned this in the description. Now itâs all set up I love it. Really easy to take on and off and finally I donât have to pest my wife to massage me. Great product and great customer service.

Does what it’s supposed to do.
It works well. Provided you have a flat wall or doorway. One odd quirk is that the part that clamps to the wall is really strong and sturdy but the part that actually holds the massager is attached to the clamp with 2 plastic arms. They bend and deflect if you apply anything more than light pressure. For the price it would be better if they were metal. I fully expect them to break at some point.

Don’t Waste Your Time with Any Other Product
I thought I would save a few bucks and bought another (unnamed) brand and even thought it was great at first. Skip to one week later where it’s falling down and the rubber grips are coming unglued. Broke down and bought the Monkee Mount and I’m kicking myself for not investing right off the bat. Its sturdier, more solid and reliable and it’s been used for over a month. Best on the market

Cheap plastic
It works well for hands free massaging, but the tightening bolts are plastic and broke on me very easily when installing. Contacted monkey mount twice regarding a replacement bolt, they have yet to contact me back..

Well worth the price
I was on the fence about paying for this mount after buying an expensive Theragun⦠after all, you can sort of reach the same areas just holding it behind you. However, on first use, I was blown away by how much better this was on my back, shoulder and neck. Itâs like the old massage trick of rolling a lacrosse ball behind your back on the wall, except with percussion.My only quibble is the printed instructions were basically impossible to read/understand; do yourself a favor and jump right to their 2min setup video. Or just figure it out on your own, itâs not a complex install.

Mounted my Tim Tam
I was skeptical that this mount would hold the Tim Tam because it’s bulkier than other guns.The build quality is acceptable. I wouldn’t call it sturdy but it seems passable and it clamps to the wall well enough that it doesn’t move. Plus this is the only mount I’ve seen that fits multiple guns. I’m giving it 5 stars because it does exactly what it claims it will do.

I have a chronic pain disorder and also have a recurrent problem with muscle spasms behind my shoulder blade. Yoga only goes so far, and when I see my osteopath she uses a massage gun on me.I had previously gotten a massage gun from Amazon but unfortunately can’t reach the area myself. When my husband is home he is happy to help but honestly didn’t always get the right pressure for me.With this I can attach it to the doorframe , set the gun on it and access DIY relief in between osteopathy appointments – I only see her once every two weeks, would like to go more often but 1) she is very busy and 2) it is $120 per visit.But now I don’t need to suffer through in between appointments and she has commented that it is now much easier for her to work with that area as it has not been left in spasm for days at a time, while waiting to see her.I do put a thin towel in between the gun holder and the door frame as I wasn’t sure if it might damage it but so far, so good.Very happy with it and happy to recommend it to others.
My Two Cents –
First off, I removed half a star because it will not fit onto a retaining wall. Typically, a retaining wall in your house will be made with 2×6 studs which are actually 1.5 x 5.5 inches. So, the 5.5 inches for the stud and .5-inch drywall on each side and the thickness of the narrow part of the casing brings you to 5.5 + .5 + .5 + .5 – .75 for the casing, equals 7.25 inches give or take and this unit only opens up to 7 inches. Other than that, it’s one of those things, where you say why didn’t I think of that. It’s perfect in every way. It has padding on the wall jaws as not to damage the wall or casing. It will hold probably any massage gun on the market. I own 3 from the one in the video which has a weird, tapered handle, a regular round handle one and a really small compact gun, and it fits every one of them. You can adjust the angle of the gun as can be seen in the video, so you could theoretically adjust the gun to face the ground and mount it low to the floor. Then you could lay under it rather than stand up. Too Smart. It is very well built and is very strong. Now you can work any part of your body without having someone to help you. 4.5 stars all the way. If it opened up an extra 1/2 an inch, it would have been 6 stars. Keep in mind you probably have more walls in your home that this will fit on to rather than not. I hope this helps in your decision making.

This product looks hilarious over-designed yet very bare bones looking too. Bolts are exposed everywhere but in reality it really works quite well. And it is overkill in terms of how solidly built it is! It clamps tightly and with good grip on the surfaces you lay it on, but doesn’t have that much dampening between the clamp itself and the clamped surface… as such be aware that vibrations transferred down from the massage gun in use can potentially cause damage. So be aware of where you set it up at!

This mountable massage gun holder is amazing! I recently suffered a back injury and needed a lot of physio and massage. This was an easy mount to attach to my wall, then to attach my massage gun to to reach the spots that I would otherwise have to wait for my husband to come home and reach. I love that it is detachable and not a permanent fixture, so that I can tuck it away when I don’t need it. I highly recommend it for people who are suffer mobility issues and need a helping hand that isn’t always there in person.

This is a cool tool, you can set up a massage gun and get hard to hit areas like the back. Have to be careful though if you push to hard against the gun it’ll move or the stand will simply fall. The vibration from the massage gun and you pushing against it will almost always move the gun around. This a good idea but disappointing execution.
