The instructions on the bottles do not do it justice – It is amazing. So my hair is frizzy the moment I step outside – wet or dry – no matter what. Florida humidity is hard on hair. My roots are normally very oily and my ends are dry (I dye my hair a lot) but I take better care of my hair now. THIS product helps with Wavy to Beachy Curls SO WELL. You get a wet application and a Gel (You don’t have to use both, but it’s cheap enough, I tried both) and the Value for money is insane!My hair holds the curls (doesn’t go straight) and frizzing is the best it has EVER been. Don’t get me wrong – it’s Florida. It will still do that, but it is a whole world better. The hold is a lottle on the crinkly side when you put more that a quarter size in it, but the scrunching is the most important part. It also smells good.

Tried these for the first time for my curls. Itâs one of the first products that holds the curls without looking super frizzy. Super easy to use & doesnât leave my hair feeling stiff. Worth it for me. And I like buying the bigger bottles because you get more for your money.

The gel holds your hair quite well. I donât like the texture of the leave in or defining cream. Itâs a little too thick for my liking. And it kind of makes your hair a little rough. This is just my personal opinion. Everyoneâs hair is different at the end of the day, but if youâre starting your curly hair journey, I would recommend starting off with this product.

I wish I bought this sooner!
Excellent!! My only regret is not getting this set sooner. I have fine, thin, curly (type 2c-3a) hair which gets weighed down by products very easily. My scalp is naturally oily as well, so build up always exacerbates that. I haven’t had these problems with the NYM Curl Talk Gel and Curl Cream. My hair stays voluminous and soft for up to 3 days, but I usually wash it on the 2nd.I initially bought this set just for the gel, but I’ve come to appreciate the curl cream as well. The scent of both products is mild, slightly sweet but not sugary. Kind of floral but definitely not overbearing. Its a soft scent.Neither product dries out my ends, particularly the gel, which is a problem I was having with another very popular brand of gel (starts with an “E”.) Additionally, the gel isn’t sticky or too thick so its easy to apply, and it holds my curls beautifully. It adds shine and definition without heaviness on my strands. The curls don’t loosen until about the third day, and even then its easy to refresh them with a spray bottle. The curl cream has a soft hold but still defines my curls and adds shine to my hair without making it feel greasy or weighed down. The product has nice slip as well.Totally recommend.

My hair has changed after having kids so I have been trying new products to get my curl and volume back. Over all it is a decent hair product. Liked that there is a gel and cream options. Average effectiveness, I have not noticed and real difference in my curls between that and the off the shelf gel I was previously using. Mild scent (if any). Light texture. Probably a little over priced for the results I received. Larger bottles.
