Great for certain hair types, my Mom loves it.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom and she loves it. She has shoulder length, straight and thin hair. It dries her hair perfectly and quickly and keeps it soft and helps with frizz. I have 2b hair, thick and somewhere between curly and wavy hair. It took less time to dry my hair than a normal hair dryer but only by maybe 20 minutes. It dried the top layer of my hair quickly but didn’t reach the under layers of my hair, I would have had to flipped my head over and that’s a no-no for frizz. I should also mention that just because it’s a dryer don’t forget the proper method of brushing thick curly hair, start at the bottom and work your way up. I got carried away and started at the top and it almost instantly got stuck in my hair and began to rip out some of my hair in addition to snapping and splitting some hairs. That was probably on me though so if you don’t do this it should be fine. Also, with thick curly hair take your time gliding the brush through. It works way better that way and doesn’t get caught in you hair as much. Speed brushing, even after getting it brushed and tangle free, causes the dense bristles to get stuck in your hair. Because my hair is curly and I have a lot of baby hair on the top of my head my hair still frizzed I didn’t use any friz control products either. Honestly though it works great for my mom I would not use it for myself. When I finished using it my hair was mostly straight but not in a fashionable way. It looked like someone did a bad job flat-ironing it, and for some reason I couldn’t run my fingers through my hair without my hair getting tangled afterwards. Also be warned, the gold part get HOT so don’t let it touch your ears and keep your hair away from the tip of the brush as hair always get stuck in it. I know this seems like a harsh review but I think it’s a good product that works well for people with a certain hair types, namely straight or thin hair. If you have hair like mine you could probably get it to work well for you if you practiced with it and put in some extra effort, like anti-friz products and flat ironing afterwards, I just don’t want to put so much extra effort into drying my hair. It is a good product, especially after I read a bunch of reviews comparing it to other similar products and found this one to be the best. Plus it has a good warranty and I found a lot of others didn’t (or had a short warranty period) and broke shortly (only a fur uses or moths) after the initial use. If you want a hairbrush dryer I would recommend choosing this one over others.

This is such a convinient little tool to use for at-home blow outs and for blow drying your hair in a way that really eliminates frizz. Of course, you can do the same with a blow dryer and round brush–but this product is the two-in-one version of that, and cuts so much of the styling time out that it is well worth the purchase. I’ve never tried the popular competitors that sell the same type of product, but I’ve had other Hot Tools products before and they feel like they are pretty durable and good quality. Thus, I opted for this over the others.I’ve had it for a few months now and haven’t noticed any extra damage to my hair or wear-and-tear of the product itself like bristles falling out. My hair is naturally wavy/frizzy, but comes out super sleek after styling with this product. You twist the bottom to turn it on, and it has a lower setting and a higher setting. The higher setting does get pretty hot, so be careful touching the metal edges. It’s pretty noisy, but I’m not sure you could make something like this much quieter.I will admit I didn’t read the manual thouroughly, so I’m not sure if they included instructions for cleaning. Food for thought, though, this is probably more difficult to clean than a round brush since you cannot fully submerge it in water/vinegar/soap/whatever. I do use styling products before using this, and I haven’t noticed a buildup too bad on the bristles yet, but when I do I will have to figure out a more innovative way to get it 100% clean.Otherwise, this is such a cool little innovative product that helps to cut down on time to get ready and really promises frizz-free results with a small learning curve!

Great value
I’ve had really great luck with this hot tool! It travels well and makes for a quick and easy polished look when blowdrying your hair. My favorite part is that I don’t have to go back over it with another hot tool for a finished look! The shape is more oval than circular which is nice because it doesn’t curl up or under too dramatically and brings a lot of volume to my roots. I am able to get away with just using the “low” function and it still does a really great job of efficiently drying my hair. I would put this tool up against any of the other high end options that are quadruple the price!

Worked perfect until the cord came of the bottom

La acabo de recibir. De momento aún no la uso al cien, solo la prendí para corroborar que si prendía y prendió súper bien. La bolsa del cepillo venía sellada, nada abierta. La caja venía en buenas condiciones, ya que, estuve leyendo algunas reseñas de que la caja y/o bolsa venían abiertas, la estaba dudando en comprar, que al final terminé animándome y todo resultó en excelentes condiciones.Espero y mi reseña las pueda ayudar 🙂

Tenía dudas y temor de cómo llegaría el producto porque la compré con el 50% de descuento y tardaron en enviarlo. Sin embargo llegó a tiempo, la caja un poco dañada pero el cepillo venía bien. Es muy similar en dimensiones al cepillo de Revlon pero Hot tools seca más rápido. Espero dure mucho tiempo !!
