This is healing for me.
I have had bad hip, lower back, and leg pains including cramps and sciatic pains for a few years. Iâve had improvement from physical therapy, Rolfing, chiropractic adjustments, and stretching exercises fronlots if online sources. I have received welcomed temporary relief from acupuncture throughout these other attempts. This book has a series of exercises that are making a great improvement. I definitely recommend this book and the available videos! It could be improved by better advice as to when to progress to next procedures. It starts out giving such advise but then disappears. I have let my body guide me as to when to advance. It definitely needs advice as to when to stop procedures. Time management requires stopping some in order to advance because after a while it takes too much time without not doing some. Again, I definitely recommend this book and available videos to anyone who has sacroiliac pain or suspects they may have it.

Interesting book
As a SIJ dysfunction sufferer, I learned a few new things about this condition like the way the brain processes chronic pain and the role of breathing. I am still trying to understand the exercises as I cannot relate to the “bony pain” points yet.

Add the exercises one at a time – Three week pain relief
I have worked through the book. After suffering piriformis syndrome, sciatica and lower back pain for 3 months, this is best set of exercises I have found. I progressed through the contents of the book in about 3 weeks and the pain level decreased almost daily as I did the PT. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The pictures really illustrate what you should do. I had acute pain to start and was constantly using cold and heat, lying down and generally not productive. You do not do the whole book at once! The first couple of days I was only doing the first two pelvic balancing exercises, but then added more each day. I also have some lower back issues from an old L4/L5 surgery so I began adding crunches, etc to strengthen the abs and lower back as my pain decreased. The pain level decreased over the days and moved as I stretched out the muscles. I wore a sacroiliac belt for couple of weeks to stabilize the SI joint and lower back for the first couple of weeks and I think it helped me get through the physical therapy exercises with minimal sciatica flair ups.Consider also getting therabands, SI belt/back brace and maybe a tens unit as well. I liked everything in Riczo’s book. She emphasizes exercise, repetition, and time. If I was to add anything to her great advise is to learn better sleep positions with pillows, etc. so your muscles do not spasm while your are sleeping.

Good Info
This is not a book; it is an overpriced pamphlet. It should have been downloadable. The info is certainly good to know and reminds me of the Pilates I am familiar with. Pics and exercises nothing new. I expected more info than anything I could have Googled.

Short but thorough
This is a thin book (only 40 pages) but very specific and well written. Lots of pictures. No wasted words. Explains sacroiliac anatomy, causes of dysfunction and specific exercises with benefits of each and how to decide which ones are best for individual conditions. Exactly what I was looking for. This will be a well-marked reference book for me. Love that it gets to the point quickly without a lot of “filler” to look more impressive.

Get his book if you have back pain
Book was recommended by the “world famous PT guys’ and it was just what I needed. Have had 2 back surgeries followed by physical therapy, but this book is way better than that ever was. Simple and progressive stretches and exercises with pictures and explanations, and very easy to follow. I can do them anywhere, without special equipment other than a latex band and a pillow. Takes less than 5 mintues a day to do them, and I add other stretches for about a 10 minute session every evening or when my back has been overworked at any time.

Terribly disappointed….
This is the biggest let down I have had from any Amazon order ever. Luckily it wasn’t much money. This is a 30 page pamphlet. This is not a book. Not even a magazine. There is nothing in here that can’t be found by searching YouTube for “SI Joint Pain”. Is there some useful info in here? Yes, some. However this should be sold for $1.99 at best. This is less than 1/8 inch thick including the cover. To call this a book is fraud.

This is a gift for someone, but with a quick glance it looks like it has a lot of info. Only reason Iâm giving a 4 start was the packaging as the book arrived bent.

Exercises are good but a bit pricey for just a bit of info & pictures
