This is an incredible product. When the description says âinstant readâ they mean it! It reads temperatures incredibly quickly and gives me so much confidence when baking, grilling or cooking on the stove. I love it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed a better candy thermometer for when I make sugar syrup when making itakian meringue. This one is perfect! Quick and accurate temperature taking. I’ve also used it for frying and baking. Works equally as well for those purposes too. Great product. No need to break the bank for a higher priced option. Easy to clean, easy to read, and I love how compact it is. Also, since it is magnetic, I can just put it on the fridge until I need it next!

So far this item is perfect. Easy to read, easy on/off, instant temp. reading. Easy to clean the entire item. Worth the money!! You can open your grille, read the temp and close before loosing much heat.

My boyfriend and I are both cooks by trade, so going through thermometers is something that can happen more frequently then we like. Unfortunately the best thermometers are also very expensive.I’m happy to report that these are some of the best thermometers we have bought to date so far!They are well built and have a nice feel to them. They don’t feel cheap and light like most do. They have been very accurate so far, with a quick reading. The NIST calibration certificate is nice to see.We keep them in our pockets, so we don’t hang them up often, but the magents have held them up fine so far. Same with the battery life, we haven’t had to recharge or replace the batteries yet, even after using them all day since we bought them a couple weeks back. The overall design has been good!We are happy with them so far! I will update after some more thorough use

If price matters to you, or you want several units, this should be your best value.
I bought the ThermoMonster instant read thermometer simply because it was the least expensive instant read thermometer I could find. It should work for grilling as I intended. I tested it in my kitchen and it seems to work well enough. For the price it is a good purchase. The thermometer arrived in 2 days after I ordered it on the internet, which I think is flat out amazing. If it is durable and waterproof as advertised I will be especially pleased. I am thinking about ordering more of them for spares and other handy locations.
