Worth the price and vet recommended
Oravet dog chews are definitely on the pricier side, but theyâre absolutely worth it to help avoid putting your dog under anesthesia for dental cleanings. We started giving one chew a day for the first few days, then switched to every other dayâthat routine has been perfect for keeping our dogâs teeth clean and her breath fresh. Itâs a much-needed treat that not only supports dental health but also helps prevent those costly and stressful vet visits. Highly recommend for long-term care and peace of mind!

Took the Edge Off My Dogâs Bad Breath â Vet-Approved and Dog-Approved!
I have two vizslas â a wild puppy and a 7-year-old whoâs sweet but has some seriously kickinâ breath. Before dropping $800 on a professional dental cleaning, my vet recommended trying these Oravet Dental Treats as a first step. So far, Iâm impressed! My older dog actually loves the taste, which is saying a lot because he can be picky with treats. Theyâre firm enough to help with tartar buildup but not so hard that I worry about his teeth. I give him one daily, and weâre already noticing a mild improvement in breath â especially when paired with seaweed powder (algae-based) in his food. These arenât a miracle fix, but theyâre a solid and affordable part of a dental routine, especially if your dog isnât quite ready for a full cleaning. Plus, no weird smell or mess like some other chews. If your dogâs breath is getting a little wild and youâre not quite ready for a big vet bill, these are definitely worth trying!

Great results
Our dog loves these dental chews. Does a great job removing plaque build up. Gave her one every 3 days until most of the build up was gone, then one a week. We were happy with the results.

Prevention for my senior dog
One of my dogs is a senior, and I can see that his teeth are discolored. The vet said they aren’t too bad for an 11 year old dog but recommended Oravet to prevent having him put under for a cleaning, which would be both stressful to him and expensive for me. I trust my vet, and I believe these chews are probably working. My dog’s breath is definitely better. He absolutely loves these. They take just a few minutes for him to chew up. They smell a little funky to me but aren’t too bad. I didn’t give this product five stars because of how expensive it is – around $1.25 per chew. Because of this, I only give them to my dog every other day or so. However, if they keep him from needing a cleaning and dental work, they are worth it.

My dogs love these!
I have a 4 yr old Jack Russel terrier and I just took her for her annual vet visit. The Dr was expecting to schedule her for a dental cleaning, but because she has had one of these every day since I adopted her she has beautiful teeth with absolutely no tartar. The Vet said her teeth look like that of a 1 year old. And the best part is she loves them. These are like a treat for her. She will remind me if I late giving them to her. Much easier than trying to brush her teeth. I highly recommend them. They are a little more expensive than the brands found in the local pet store, but the smell is much better. The are Vet recommended, safe for my dogs and they absolutely love the taste.

“It is like crack for dogs”
“It is like crack for dogs” – that’s what our veterinarian said before we purchased our first bag, years ago.Our dog loves this so much and it really helps his breath. First off it smells amazing, it is a nice treat smelling it before giving it to the dog lol, and I bet it tastes amazing, since he loves eating it. It’s not a hard chewing treat but it appears to get softer with saliva, making it a liiiiitle sticky and messy (my only con – he loves eating this stuff in our bed so very frequently I have green spots on my bedsheets).Tip: for sizing: since this thing is a little pricey I usually buy a bag for higher weights and cut the treat in half 🙂

Our dogs love this!
Our dogs get one of these once every night and they get VERY excited about it!It helps with removing buildup from their teeth and makes their breath smell so much better. I only give them half of one each night but it’s still very effective. If you’re looking for a healthy dental chew for your beloved pet, this is the one! Also don’t worry about your dog’s green poo, it’s normal with this treat.

I was sceptical about these but my girls teeth were getting quite bad. I bought them and could see a difference after the first bag. I bought a second bag and the plaque is 98% gone. It was such an improvement, I was thrilled with the results. She also really likes them. It makes her poop a bit green but no tummy upset at all. They are expensive but when you consider the cost of dental cleanings it is worth it. I supplement with Greenies but will alternate with these.
