Smells like lemon cake and works great 10/10
It smells so good I want to eat it ð also works great on my hair. Really great foam, makes my hair look amazing!!! Not too sticky at all, doesn’t leave that crunchy feel. It’s not a super strong gel hold, but I don’t want that, I like looking a bit floofy. Highly recommend.

New HG curl product
I purchased this because a creator on TikTok recommended it, and I’ve purchased other products from this brand. Honestly I wasn’t a fan of the curl jelly or curl cream at first, but I’ve since changed my mind. I think this is supposed to be a “dupe” for the Verb foam gel, but Cake Beauty’s is so much better and affordable. First, I wasn’t a fan of the scent from the other products which is why i held off on buying this, but it actually smells good, not too strong or bad at all. Second, the hold is really good, especially if it’s paired with other products (curl cream, and light hold jelly). Third, it foams well, and its lightweight, not watery at all. Even though it isn’t watery, I actually have to scrunch out water from my hair before applying. And lastly, my curls are defined and last all day. This is also a good product for next day refresh!

Smells like lemon pie no cast at all
Holds curl and retains the curl next day but with frizzy there is no cast at all but good curl memory just added a bit of oil for frizz the smell is great smells like lemon pie but does not hold scent at all. Was a good purchase to try it out from all the buzz but I wont get again not strong enough for me I have thin 3a hair

My daughter’s hair is coily and very thick! This product works really well on her hair helping with frizz and overall control. It does not weigh her hair down or leave any residue which I mostly love about this product. She likes the smell and tells me how soft her hair feels after applying! So far each time we have used this product, it holds her hair for 2-3 days.

Isn’t just a pretty bottle with a cute name. It definitely works.
Of course I bought it because of the name and that is pink. This gel to foam is a great go to, very wet for a gel but I don’t mind it means it’s getting on every hair stand. Nice hold but not stiff like traditional gels. I love the smell, sweet lemony smell but docent over power or stay all day. I have super frizzy curly hair the cake works. doesn’t leave a heavy coat on the hair, just a nice hold.

I love this brand so much, I already used their shampoo, conditioner, I have not used a mouse in 15 years. So Iâm happy that this was my re-introduction to mouse styling. Did not disappoint and smells incredible, like a creamy lemon sorbet.

I AM OBSESSED!! My hair is quite thick, more wavy than curly and I have struggled to find a product that doesnât make my hair feel too heavy, weighs it down or creates stringy strands. My wave/curl type for styling purposes canât be brushed when wet, only before I shower. The only one I have found that worked previous Kristen Ess Curl Defining Jelly, however this one takes the CAKE. My hair is sooo soft and fluffy but the hold is exceptional. The product holds the curl pattern when first applied – without being heavy enough to weigh it down, as it dries the hold then softens to create super soft hair!!! The scent is also wonderful. I hate strong smells but itâs so light but refreshing. I literally bought it this morning and used it right after work. Hands down AMAZING!!!!

This product has a pleasant smell that isnât too overpowering. I found that it was lightweight and didnât weigh down my 2C curly hair. It has good hold on the first day but didnât last throughout the week. Didnât have a gel cast either so Iâm not sure about the claim that it goes from mousse to gel. Good for looser curls
