Great microneedle stamp!
This review is for the MicroNeedle Stamp.I ordered this item because I wanted my skin to absorb skin products a little faster and better.I love that this stamp has adjustable needle sizes because different parts of my face require different depths. In general, thinner skin (like near the eyes) should use much smaller needle lengths. The build quality is okay. I like that it has a cap, but I disinfect the needles before AND after every use and I wish that there was a way to place this vertically on a counter top so that the isopropyl alcohol can drip off the needles and evaporate. The curved plastic of the main needle surface is both a blessing and a curse. It’s nice for contoured areas of the face but it’s less effective if you just want to stamp up and down on the skin, because not all the needles enter the skin at the same time.

So far so good
Admittedly it took me a little while to build up the courage to try this. Iâve been hearing about microneedling from friends for the last few years and they swear by it. Unfortunately itâs not a luxury I can afford to have done so when I saw this inexpensive at home alternative I jumped at the chance.I wanted to do a bunch of reading and research beforehand so I didnât cause myself any harm. The item itself doesnât come with particularly detailed instructions. It would be helpful if it did. I would encourage anyone trying this to research before using so that youâre preparing your face and the needles correctly to avoid irritation or any potential infection.I like that these needles are adjustable. You can start off with a very minimal depth til you work up confidence or use different depths for different areas of the face. Iâve read this âstampâ method is preferred over the roller method since it doesnât pull or potentially tear at the skin. So thatâs good! The needles didnât hurt at all to my surprise or cause much of any irritation afterwards. I am still using the smallest depth until I get used to the procedure and feel I know what Iâm doing and know how my skin reacts. The one thing that does leave me a little concerned is that the needles retract into the stamp and I donât know if itâs truly getting sterilized correctly. Itâs not something you can take apart and I wonder if dirt and bacteria is getting through the needle holes and I donât know if the alcohol Iâm using to disinfect is getting down in there. I suppose if you disinfect well with the needles in the upright position and use it immediately you donât have to worry? Iâm not entirely confident though. I have looked into other stamps, researching different brands sold online and found many have this same design so I think Iâm just being a bit paranoid.Iâve used it a few times now with no ill effects and no real discomfort and will be increasing the depth as I go. I donât know if this will wind up being as effective as salon treatments but for me itâs either this at home treatment or no treatment at all! This is an inexpensive tool that wouldnât break the bank to purchase again when it needs replacing.

Effective at home collagen stimulation
Iâm starting to get deep lip lines that make my mouth look sunken, even though I donât smoke. Serums and creams alone have not helped much. It stands out because I donât have any other deep wrinkles, just a little crows feet. I researched the subject and found that itâs a natural ageing process caused by lowered collagen production, and that microneedling in targeted areas can help stimulate collagen production by causing minute injuries that repair. I figured I could deal with a little pain, and it was worth trying.I donât have the budget for an aesthetician, so I ordered this ZMBITY stamp style device because it looked user friendly with itâs adjustable depth and it looked safer than a rolling tool. I had to actually get brave enough to try it, but it was honestly not that bad, just a little sting, no worse than waxing or epilating. The instructions basically amount to common sense, sanitizing the tool with alcohol, which is easy, and working with clean skin. Iâve done just a couple of treatments and Iâm very happy to report that it actually works well. I can see real improvement where the lines have minimized, and it has not damaged my skin whatsoever. With an $18 price tag, I thought it might be too good to be true, but itâs great quality, effective, and just a very good value for the money. Itâs not just a puffing effect, it actually lasts, and itâs a confidence booster to have fixed this issue.

Great multi use tool
I am new to micro needling and wasn’t aware of the fact that different depths were recommended for different outcomes. I was surprised to see that this unit was adjustable and used the recommended setting for hair regrowth serum. It’s way too early to see any results but, using this once a week is recommended. Please remember to clean your it well as the needles are not replaceable and are to be reused over and over again. I personally use an alcohol spray to keep the unit clean.

Not the best for scalp use
I actually really like the stubby form factor and adjustment wheel of this microneedler. I found them ergonomic and comfortable to hold. The somewhat curved base is also a neat feature.I use a microneedler on my scalp, at about 1.0mm. I was surprised that at that depth this one caused almost immediate bleeding, and took some skin with it. Comparing it (left) to my usual (right) it’s clear why – the needles on this one are noticeably bigger.
