Great way to ease your way into going dark.
Very good way to ease into going dark. My hair is naturally dark brown but I have had it kind of a lot of roots going into very light blonde for awhile now, but it has gotten yellowed from chlorine and stuff. Anyway, I want to go dark again, but have been too nervous. So I figured I would try the Dark Blonde, start slow and not permanent, and ease my way in. This product made my hair feel great (it was fried and I also spent the day in the pool so it was dry and frizzy). In the second picture, which is the after picture, it actually looks lighter than it does in person, I think because itâs so shiny tbh, and also because the spotlight is on it. But I love it. I would definitely recommend it.

I have used Natural Instincts for many years to freshen up my natural mouse-brown color and cover the small amount of gray I have. I decided to try this as it was less expensive and I was never really in love with the results I got from Natural Instincts. I donât like permanent color as it seems to be too damaging and drying to my hair. I tried this product today and was pleasantly surprised! It smelled great and was easy to wash out. I especially enjoyed the leave-in scalp serum and as some others have said, I wish it came in a bottle I could buy on its own. The ash-brown color blended beautifully with my natural hair and the results were uniformâI always seem to have an issue with my ends coming out darker than the rest of my hair, and that didnât happen this time. And it covered the grays! The conditioner and scalp serum left my hair healthy-looking and full of body. Iâm thrilled with the results I got and for the price, you really canât go wrong. Iâll absolutely buy this again!

Guys! I went to the dark side in September from blonde, I loved the transition from blonde. However I just really was tired of paying salon price to refresh my hair. I started looking into glossing and demi/semi hair dye. I took a chance on this one in the brown black color. The picture of me in the graphic sweatshirt was the first time I tried this product, the results were amazing. I have purchased two times since. I will say that you have to use the product sparingly and it can be a learning process to cover your whole head in the dye. It fades out very nicely and doesnât look patchy or faded. The photo where Iâm in the hat is how it looks 2 months after dyeing. The last photo was taken today after using the product two days ago. I truly love the way this product is so simple and lasts. I will keep using this as long as I want to stay dark.

Save Hundreds at Home!
This product is awesome if you have the right expectations! My salon blonde balayage (on light brunette roots) was several months grown out & costs $250. This $5 product was able to even out my overall color and blend the harsh root/highlight contrast at the top. See collage for shades & timestamps.Dark Blonde was a good natural match. I repurchased in Light Golden Brown for a slightly darker/warmer tone and probably prefer the first but both are good. As with other box dyes, individual results vary and you have to be ok with a range of final looks. It did not cause any damage.USE: I tried to do a very thorough job saturating all hair and left it in slightly longer than instructed, for 30 minutes. The bottle surprised me and one was enough to cover my long, medium thickness hair.CONS: It does not cover grays completely and I have a handful but it blended the majority of them. It does not last 28 washes since I had noticeable fading around 8 weeks (washing hair weekly.) However, both are not dealbreakers for me given my intentions of using this product.In my opinion this is worth a try if youâre on a budget! Itâs ideal for freshening up/evening out tone and blending grown out color. Plus, itâs low risk since itâs semipermanent. Iâll reuse 🙂

Great alternative to blend greys, if you don’t have many
I’m starting to get some grays, so I started dying my hair using Revlon Colorsilk, which is permanent. I liked the results, but over time, I felt that it was drying my hair too much and also looking dull. Now I use this gloss and my hair looks healthier, softern and shinier. It cover/blends grays quite well. The downside is that it doesn’t last much. In winter I wash my head about 2 times a week, that’s 14 washes per month. I think I need to apply this once a month or perhaps 6 weeks. Thus, it doesn’t last the 28 washes as it claims. But it’s still good and I plan to keep using it. Bonus, you don’t get that harsh grow effect as you get with permanent dyes. You probably also want to touch up your permament hair color each 4-6 weeks anyway, so I’d rather do it with this gloss that nourshes my hair.

Bad product, ruined my hair
It ruined my hair never again, I have healthy long hair that have some few immature gray hairs on one side around the face that I cover it usually with clarol natural instinct semi permanent with no ammonia i only apply to the roots it doesn’t cover them all but blends them with minimal to no damage, I don’t use heat tools or permanent colors also deep condition regularly so my hair is very healthy, I found this product while I was looking for gloss treatment and it claimed it gloss and tint at the same time so I decided to give it a try bad decision, it dried my hair it turned it almost hay straw like bird nest i lost big amount of hair too, I am so mad no gloss no tint just frayed dull bird nest I don’t no how to fix it, do not buy

A good option
It doesnât entirely cover grays. I needed 2 boxes to do shoulder length hair, which I didnât mind. The color came out great, didnât completely cover my gray roots. It did fade very quickly. Used it a second time and the color came out much darker and the second time around, it did cover my gray roots. Itâs a good option for damaged hair. It left my hair feeling very soft and smooth and that did last for 3 days. Since using it a second time, the color is lasting a lot longer.
