Accurate meter
I had an Omron blood pressure meter that kept giving higher readings than those that were done at the doctors office. I decided to try this A&D meter and it does read lower. I haven’t calibrated it with the doctor’s office readings yet but I know it will at least be closer than my old meter. When I take multiple readings the readings I get with the A&D also seem to be more consistent than with the Omron meter.

Cuff needs redesign
I run this monitor and a much cheaper one side by side each day. They both are very close to each other on the measure so that is how I prove accuracy. And it is very close to what the doctors office measures. I donât love the cuff… it has a hard curved starting edge that you initially lay on your bicep to begin the wrap. That hard curved edge never really sits flat on the arm. Itâs supposed to be a feature for a proper fit but I think itâs to stiff and the curve to small for anyoneâs arm. Whenever I get a crazy reading I readjust the cuff and press that curved edge as flat as I can and then the reading is normal.

The doctor wanted my husband to get a monitor. I picked this one because of the takjing feature. My husband does not see and he is able to take his pressure without help and knows his results. It works great!

Accurate, accessible, and easy to use.
It speaks the instructions and results clearly, which has been really helpful for my aging father who struggles with vision. The cuff fits comfortably and seems to give consistent readings. I like that it alerts you if the cuff isn’t placed correctly, which helps cut down on user error. We also appreciate the TriCheck option, it takes three readings automatically and averages them, giving us more confidence in the results. Setup was simple, and the screen is big and easy to read. The Heart Track app syncs without issues to my phone, making it convenient to track everything over time. The included batteries and carrying case were nice touches too.The design is a bit bulkier than expected, but thatâs a minor tradeoff for all the features it offers. Overall, itâs reliable, accessible, and makes monitoring blood pressure at home a lot less stressful.

Simple, easy to use and accurate
This is the second one of these I’ve purchased. My now blind 85 year old blind mother is able to use it without any assistance. The voice is loud and clear and the results are very close to the doctor’s reading from his sphygmomanometer.If there is any downside it is that the unit cannot accommodate multiple users but if you need a simple, talking BP monitor it is hard to go wrong with this one.

Worthless for home use
Took this unit with me to doctors appointment to check for accuracy. It consistently read 30-40 points higher on the high number and 20-30 points higher on the low number compared to the ones in the doctors office. They used two of their machine’s to check my blood pressure and they were within 4 points of one another on both the high and low numbers. Knowing all of this I went to return the unit and it is not returnable. I would not buy another AND unit again even though I have had good luck with them in the past. Save yourself the headache if you purchase a blood pressure tester for home use and make sure it is returnable. For whatever reason this one is not so I am out what I paid for it. If i could give zero stars I would.
