Works really well
I was told this is one of the better smelling ones, I’d have to disagree. I’d say it smells like Nair. Overall works really well. You just apply on your legs and wait until it dries and wipe it off with a wet rag. It does leave like a chalklike substance on your legs, but it’ll go away if you just put body oil or lotion on.

Works great!
So I have pcos and have struggled with excess body hair since puberty and have tried just about everything to deal with it. Shaving, waxing, nair, veet, etc. and I have to say this is one of the better products Iâve tried!I did a test patch on my arm first and it worked well and didnât bother my skin at all so I tried it last night pretty much from my toes up to my hips as well as on my bikini line and tummy. I left it on for 6 and a half minutes and man did it work! I did just like the directions said and mixed it up (in total it took about 6 tablespoons of powder plus 6 of water to cover everything) and then I used a spray bottle to keep all the spots wet when they started to dry. I used a damp rag to wipe it all away and the hair just came right off!The smell wasnât too strong and wasnât unpleasant, but the powder is so fine it did want to get everywhere while I was mixing it and it was a bit messy to apply. The one thing I did notice is that although it didnât leave any tender, itchy, or painful spots on the places I applied it, it did greatly bother my hands where I have eczema at so I would definitely wear gloves next time I use it. It felt like it took off the top layer of skin on my hands, so if you have eczema or sensitive skin I would be careful with it. It left the skin on my legs super soft tho!The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I already feel like Iâm starting to get a little stubble back the next day. Itâs not as bad as it usually is the day after shaving, but I was sort of under the assumption that it would be more like veet or nair where it took a couple days for the hair to grow back. Still a great product but disappointing that Iâll have to use it almost as often as I would regularly have to shave.

Great product when used properly
Magic Shave: Tips from 30 Years of ExperienceLet me share the most effective way I’ve found to use Magic Shave (Black and Gold can) after three decades of regular use.Getting the Mix Right:The key is in the preparation. Pour your powder in a bowl, add water, and here’s the important part – let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before mixing. This resting time makes all the difference – the powder naturally absorbs the water, making it much easier to blend. After waiting, use a spatula to mix until smooth. If needed, add small amounts of water until you get the consistency you want. A thicker mix removes hair better, but you’ll need to be more careful with timing.Application Steps:1. Do this in the shower – makes cleanup a breeze2. Use the No Razor Shaver (Amazon item #Br48503)3. Critical safety point: Never leave it on your skin longer than 5-7 minutes4. For removal:- Use a spray bottle or shower water- Work against the grain at an angle- Make several passes to get everythingClean-Up:Very important – don’t use a washcloth or anything abrasive when washing your face afterward! Your skin will be more sensitive, so just use your hands with gentle soap and rinse with water. Rough materials can irritate your skin.Routine:Use it every other day, not daily – your skin needs that break. Always wash gently afterward and use moisturizer, especially in winter when skin gets drier. What to Expect:- Gets rid of 99-100% of hair- No ingrown hairs- Stays smooth about two days- Black and Gold can works bestSafety First:That 5-7 minute maximum on your skin is crucial – don’t exceed it. The stronger your mix, the better it works, but also watch your skin more carefully.Only Real Drawback:Yes, it smells like sulfur. But the results are worth it.These techniques go beyond what’s on the label, but they’re proven through years of personal experience. Everyone’s skin is different, but this method has worked reliably for me and many others.

It works but at what cost
I have PCOS which means I have to pluck or wax my chin/neck hairs constantly. I figured I would try something different and this powder was recommended on TT so I said why not. I followed the directions and applied for 7 minutes then wiped with a damp cloth. Did it get rid of the hair? Yes yes it did, I only applied it once and it got every hair BUT I guess my skin is too sensitive because my face got super red for a few hours even after washing my face thoroughly. The next day I could already feel the chin stubble coming back since it can only get rid of hair that’s exposed so while this product does work it’s not for me. I rather wax or pluck so I’m able to remove the whole hair root and go without waxing for a week.
