Customers say
Customers find this sunscreen effective, particularly noting it works well under makeup, and appreciate its moisturizing formula that makes skin less ruddy. The texture receives positive feedback for its satin finish, and customers like that it’s not greasy and controls oiliness. The color accuracy and white cast receive mixed reviews – while some say it helps color correct redness, others mention it leaves a white cast. The moisture level also gets mixed reactions, with some finding it absorbs quickly while others say it’s not moisturizing enough.

No white cast, but do appear slightly paler.
Went in with a healthy amount of doubt, but this stuff is GREAT. Isn’t greasy, sinks in well, doesn’t leave a white cast, but definitely does lighten the appearance of my skin a shade along with covering the redness. As a bonus, my skin texture and moisture improved after just a few days of use. I have been a supergoop user for years and still love their products, but this is a game changer for perimenopausal skin reddening.

Nicest Sunscreen on the Planet | Wish They Offered a Tinted Version
This might be the nicest sunscreen, period – mineral or chemical filter-based. Here’s what you need to know:â¡ï¸ It feels like silkâ¡ï¸ It leaves way less of a white cast than most untinted mineral formulas (but still a definite white cast)â¡ï¸ It dries down quickly to a natural finish. The description says satin, which I guess means not an oil slick but not the Sahara desert like many matte finish sunscreens.â¡ï¸ It plays so nicely with my rosacea, even when it’s really aggressively flaring. It makes my skin

Perfect mineral sunscreen
I love this mineral sunscreen. It goes on smooth and blends beautifully. Protects my fair, sensitive Irish skin quite well – I like the faint green undertone (it disappears!) as it also disguises any redness. It has a nice moisturizing effect as well. Perfection

Nice feel for mineral sunscreen
I like this sunscreen. It feels very light and comfortable on my face, which is a top concern for me with a mineral sunscreen. It rubs in easily without tugging or pilling, and it doesnât have much of a smell. My only complaint is that thereâs very minimal redness reduction. I was hoping to replace my more expensive redness reducing Dr. Jart product with this one, but it doesnât do a good enough job of that. I can see how this might have a white cast for folks with darker skin, but I have light skin and didnât experience that. It does blend very well for a mineral sunscreen, so maybe it would work on darker skin after lots of blending. Overall, very good mineral sunscreen with a light feel and I will likely repurchase.

Very good sunscreen, but only for specific skin type
Not to be that person, but I generally don’t write reviews. However, I thought I would in case it can benefit someone.I have very oily skin, VERY oily skin. I like to wear a sunscreen/tinted sunscreen to help even out skin tone but also to help control my oil throughout the day. And this sunscreen is that! It goes on with a satin finish, but I blot it and set it with a powder in the morning and it dries down matte and stays that way. It will settle in fine lines, but most sunscreens do on me because of the thicker consistency. Now, if you have combo skin type, this may not be for you. It can be extenuating to any dryness that you may be experiencing. This may be counteracted with a heavier moisturizer, but with oily skin, I use the lightest amount of moisturizer I can.I have been using it with my Cotz tinted sunscreen for an added tint, and to soften how drying (in a good way for me) this sunscreen is.

Doesnât look green
I donât know where this âgreenâ tint is, but itâs certainly not in this sunscreen. I see white when it comes out, and it does leave a white cast, even on pale skin. A white cast doesnât bother me, though, as it helps tone down my red cheeks. Iâve only been using this for a few days and it doesnât seem to cause irritation. I will use it for a couple weeks to see how it is longer term. The finish is fine and I like how it spreads and feels on skin.

Works great under makeup
First off, this is color-correcting: that means itâs tinted green. Itâs also a mineral sunscreen. IT HAS A WHITE/GREEN CAST. That is how those things work! It soaks into my skin and is clear within a minute.Once on this feels great on my skin, and I am super (neurodivergent) sensitive about sunscreen. Itâs not sticky or greasy, and it has absolutely zero odor. My liquid/cream makeup layers over it easily and it doesn’t run as the day goes on or sweat off.

Not Ideal For Sensitive Skin
Other reviews made it sound like a great option, but did not work for me. I have sensitive, slightly dry skin. It did not blend easily into my skin and took awhile to absorb. During the day it migrated into my eyes and made them burn. Woke up next day with a breakout on my face.
