What sets NEOS II apart from other electric toothbrushes?
Traditional electric toothbrushes only brush your teeth, but NEOS II introduces an innovative cleaning method. It not only performs the usual brushing function but also combines brushing with water flossing. This effectively cleans areas that are difficult to reach with daily brushing, such as between teeth and along the gum line.

Expensive Replacement Heads–Surprised by how Awesome it is!
When I first got this, I was a little underwhelmed. I’ve tested out some pretty nice water flossers before and they always end up getting shoved under the sink eventually and I forget to use them. With this hybrid flosser-toothbrush, though, you’re pretty much forced to use it… If you’re like me and need to be forced into a good habit, this water flosser toothbrush is for you.The toothbrush is ergonomic in the hand. It looks pretty hefty in pictures, but it’s actually nice to hold. I was worried it would be unwieldy and I wouldn’t be able to brush my back teeth as well, but that hasn’t been the case. The water tank is a good compromise size-wise–not so large that it makes the toothbrush difficult to hold/store, but not so small that you have to keep refilling it. I have enough water to do each of my teeth on one side (either outside or inside). If I refill it once, that’s plenty for a deep clean. This won’t replace regular flossing, but it’ll fill in the gaps when you don’t floss. Even if you floss daily, this will still help since you typically brush 2-3 times a day.Even after brushing and using the water flosser, I’ll still have a minimal amount of debris that I can pull up with regular floss, but far less than I’d have if I didn’t use the water flosser before. I’d say it’ll get you about 80% of the way there. The current price is $30 for two replacement heads, which means you’re looking at spending $60 a year on heads. That’s about what I paid for my sonicare toothbrush, so they’re definitely not cheap. I figured I’d use the two that came in the box and reevaluate, but I’m so impressed with the results that I think I’ll have to bite the bullet and just spend the money for the replacement heads (unless a cheaper alternative pops up).The only negative I can find is that the water flossing is programmed for after brushing. I was always under the impression that you should avoid rinsing with water after you brush, so I’m not sure water flossing afterwards is the best. If you’re concerned, though, you can always enter manual mode and water floss before you brush (which is what I do before going to sleep so I don’t rinse the toothpaste off). The battery life seems on par with my sonicare, if not better.I’ll be interested to see if my hard tap water will gunk up the water flosser, but so far I haven’t encountered a reduction in the flosser power.

Love It and Dislike It. Does NOT Remove “100% of Plaque”, Replacement Heads $15 Each.
I’ve use a combo toothbrush and Waterpik for years. The model I use has a separate tank for the water and I have to have the toothbrush plugged in to use the Waterpik feature. It’s a bit of a pain because the tube that connects the toothbrush to the tank is spiraled so it knocks stuff off my counter. I can use the toothbrush alone without it being connected to the tank. Okay, maybe TMI, but I think people who use a similar model might be looking at this one also.<> WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE NEOS IS:>>WATER FLOSSER PRESSURE AND NO LEASH TO THE BASEI can use the water flosser without being connected with a tube to a tank. The flosser is not as adjustable in terms of the pressure levels, but it works really well. I feel like the flosser gets to the same level 10 pressure as my waterpik.>>TOOTHBRUSH BRISTLESThe toothbrush bristles are soft and the head is really small, much smaller than any other electric toothbrush I’ve tried. That is good for me, but may not be good for you.I do feel like my mouth feels really clean after using the NEOS.>>TRAVEL FRIENDLY (BUT NO CASE) WATER FLOSSER AND TOOTHBRUSH IN ONEIf you travel all the time like me, being able to take an electric brush and flosser in one is fantastic! If it came with a case, that would be even better, but I found a decent case that works.<> WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT THE NEOS:>>SAYS “100% PLAQUE REMOVAL”From the SOOCAS Amazon Store Page:NEOS II ENSURES 100% PLAQUE REMOVAL BY THOROUGHLY CLEANING BETWEEN THE TEETH”There is NO WAY this removes any plaque, much less 100%! If it did remove 100% of plaque or even 20% of plaque, most dentists would be out of business because no one would ever need to get their teeth cleaned, and this brush/flosser would cost $10,000 and many, including me, would gladly pay it.PLAQUE is the super hard stuff that needs to be scraped away when you go to the dentist. BIOFOLM turns into plaque within 12-24 hours if you don’t floss. This likely removes 100% (or a lot) of biofilm in your mouth, and 0% of plaque, just like flossing does.>>REPLACEMENT HEADS ARE $15 APIECECurrently, a 2 pack of replacement heads for the Neos are about $30. I thrilled replacement heads are available, but $15 each is ridiculous (and I’m someone who really takes care of my teeth).<> Overall, I do like this brush and water flosser a lot, but I’m using it only when I travel (but I often spend more time in hotels than I do at home). I’m not sure I would invest in one of these for as home brush, but I might. The replacement head cost really bothers me, but the twisty tube that connects my waterpilk brush/water flosser also bugs me, so there’s that.

a very well-built, unique brushing tool for extra clean teeth and gums
I got this to replace an 8-year-old sonicare.First things first: I absolutely need a powered toothbrush and will never go back to a manual one, except for quick cleanings on the go. I like ones that are strong; I do not have extra sensitive gums when it comes to brushing. This Soocas brush is the perfect speed/vibration, leaving my teeth clean without feeling like it is overdoing it.My general routine is to use regular floss, electric toothbrush, then water flosser. I love that this brush gives you a full 2 minutes of brushing, then automatically starts both brushing (vibrating) and shooting water. I do wish the reservoir were a bit larger, but then again, I am not trying to totally replace my regular water flosser. You can also choose to bypass the 2-minute brushing only function and go straight to the combo. This thing is well-built, not a junky brush that won’t last. It has a streamlined, easy-to-hold design, and the buttons are in a good place so that you don’t accidentally press them when you don’t want to. It is easy to charge (magnetic charger) and has been holding the charge well. I also have to mention that the instruction booklet included is very cute! Will it replace actual dental floss? No, I don’t think so. But it does add more cleaning without adding another extra step. Your gums will thank you!
