Great moisturizer with added benefit of sunscreen to start your day!
As someone that spends a lot of time outdoors, there is nothing worse than having to put on traditional sunscreen. Brickell Element Defense Moisturizer is a moisturizer first with the added benefit of 45 SPF. It doesn’t feel like a sunscreen, have harmful chemicals, or small like one. As someone with dry skin, the moisturizer lasts and has truly protected me from the sun. The lotion is non-greasy which is almost unheard of with this high of SPF. The lotion is also surprisingly light and goes on smooth. An added benefit for guys with stubble, it doesn’t turn you beard white. I’m becoming a huge fan of Brickell products…the more I try, the more they are becoming a staple in my life.

No white cast! Feels like body lotion not sticky sunscreen
Iâve had a genuinely pleasant experience using Brickell Menâs Face Lotion SPF 20. One of the standout features is how unlike traditional sunscreen it feels. You donât get that greasy, sticky layer that sits on your skin â instead, it feels much more like a standard, lightweight moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and leaves your face feeling fresh, not oily.Another big plus: no white cast. A lot of SPF products that I have used in the past with zinc oxide tend to leave behind a chalky residue or light patches, especially around facial hair or dry spots â but this one rubs in cleanly and evenly. I often leave a short stubble to my facial hair, where the white cast would stand out the most. With this product I have not experienced that at all. Itâs easy to apply, non-irritating, and leaves a smooth, natural finish.If youâre looking for an everyday face lotion that provides sun protection without the usual drawbacks of SPF products, this is a great option. It does exactly what it claims â hydrates your skin while offering solid, no-fuss sun protection.

Fantastic Moisturizing Sunscreen
This sunscreen earned a PhD in moisturizing and protection. After properly cleansing and preparing my face and neck, I apply a thin layer of this sunscreen to complete the process. A little goes a very long way. It glides on like butter and rubs in invisibly, so dark-skinned people like me won’t have a ghostly sheen when we’re out in public.The ingredients used are the best available. So good that this can be used as a daily moisturizer, not only as a sunscreen for bright days. There is absolutely no scent, so it won’t irritate even the most sensitive noses.Bear in mind, after a while, your face may develop a slight shine. This is a healthy glow, not the oily shine other products tend to leave on your face.My only regret is that this doesn’t come in a larger bottle to cover my entire body. I recommend it.

Quality men’s sunscreen product with SPF45 protection
I window shopped many of the men’s sunscreen products that are available on Amazon and finally decided on this one because it checked all of my boxes for what I was looking for in a sunscreen product. The first plus for me was that this product is made in the USA by Brickell, a respected maker of men’s grooming products. The product is advertised as a moisturizer/SPF45 sunscreen that can be used on both face and body. SPF45 provides very good protection against the sun’s rays. On application, the lotion didn’t feel greasy, and it absorbed quickly. I did notice a faint shine to my skin until the lotion was fully absorbed. Its moisturizing effect doesn’t feel as hydrating as something like Dove’s Men+Care hydra cream. I took special note that there was a long expiration date on the sunscreen. Finally, I have to say something about the price to value of the product. Yes, $25 is pricey for a sunscreen but with this product 1) You are getting a quality sunscreen formulated by a well-known men’s grooming products company and it’s made in the USA, 2) You are getting 8 oz of an SPF45 sunscreen as opposed to other sunscreens that offer lower SPF protections and give you less than 2oz of product. Finding this Brickell sunscreen lotion turned out to be a welcome surprise for me.Update summer 2024: I used this sunscreen last summer and while I like the superior sun protection it offers; I have to remove a star from my original review. I find the lotion to be too runny coming out of the tube and even after the lotion is absorbed it feels noticeably sticky on my skin. Also, while it’s neutral scent won’t conflict with the scent of a cologne, and that should be considered an advantage in that respect, this summer I will look for a sunscreen that smells more like Banana boat.

Fantastic sun protection and moisturiser in one. Non-greasy and relatively easy to apply for a zinc based cream. Non-scented which I consider a good thing given the sickly smell a lot of similar products possess. Best of all, the tube is very large and a little definitely goes a long way. Excellent value for money and a great product all round. Will be buying more of in the future.

So smooth sun protection that lasts all day. This fragrance free lotion when on easily and kept me protected all day on a bush walk. At the end of the day my skin had a beautiful glow to it, all over and even tan.The lotion is thick to put on, but spreads easily into the skin leaving an all over protection that didn’t prespire and become runny during the day.
