Great heat protectant
I have fine curly 3c hair and it gets damaged very easily by color and heat. While I don’t do much blow drying even with a diffuser, I have found that my hair when I use the Pantene heat protectant seems to give my hair more body in general, even without using heat. When I don’t use it after a wash, I notice my hair just doesn’t have quite as much texture. So this is one of those go-to products I keep around.

Best heat protectant I’ve tried so far.
I have tried the most expensive as well as the least expensive heat protectant and this one is by far my fave. Doesn’t leave my hair feeling stiff like other products. My hair feels soft after styled, smells great, holds the style and most importantly, protects my hair from the heat from both my Dyson dryer and my curling iron. This is the only heat protectant I buy now.

Wifey has been using this for a couple of months now and the performance has been very good. A generous spray before straightening or curling the hair does minimize the damage that the hair suffers due to the heat. The effect is very easy to see when you use this spray versus don’t use the spray. The hair also looks a little more shiny than usual after using this to style the hair. So, my wife is one happy user. Recommended to all her friends.

I don’t do much more than use a hot air brush to “style” or give my hair volume most days but I do occasionally use a flat iron or curling wand to curl my hair. I always use a heat protectant (usually tresemme or Got2b) beforehand but this Pantene heat primer was a nice change and I like the scent. For me, an overpowering scent or something too harsh will result in me trashing the product immediately as I can’t stand walking around with a cloud of smelly fragrance following me everywhere.One thing I don’t like about this heat protectant is that it seems to cause my curls to deflate slightly faster which is disappointing if I spend 15 – 20 minutes on my hair. I think it’s likely due to the added weight on my long hair which causes the curls to straighten faster than if I used a lighter spray. If you have shorter or hardier hair that holds styles easily then this likely won’t be a concern.As I don’t use high heat styling tools on a very regularly basis (about 2 – 4 times a month) I can’t say with any surety how protective this spray is against damage if you style every day or a few times a week.

I have long hair and use a blow dryer and straightening iron, so I unfortunately, like many people, subject their hair to heat damage on a regular basis. This particular product from Pantene (Pantene Pro-v Nutrient Boost Heat Primer Thermal Heat Protection Pre-styling Spray) helps by offering a thermal/heat protection spray you can spritz into your hair before applying heat. The scent is fairly pleasant and the price point quite reasonable. It’s hard to know for sure how effective the heat protectant actually is, but it doesn’t harm my hair and it seems quite healthy after the application.

I use heated styling tools on my hair all the time and I always use a heat spray. I had been using a spray by Tresseme but I’m not a big fan of the “Tresseme Fragrance” so I’m happy to have this spray that smells so much better. I find it works really well too, it doesn’t make my hair as wet as the other spray. It leaves my hair.super soft.after styling and my hair doesn’t fry when using my hottest tools. It’s a good size bottle too!I have no doubt that I would buy this again.
