Lovely and light
I blind bought this a couple days ago and it just arrived. I like gardenia but itâs not like Iâm a gardenia lover, so I wasnât sure what to expect from this, but I am so glad I took a chance. I got a very light whiff of gardenia on that initial spritz and then I smell honeysuckle. It smells like open windows on a spring day and the light breeze gently carries the scent of springtime into your home. Iâm not sure that this would be a safe blind⦠It is definitely not an overpowering gardenia scent. This is more like a gentle whisper of spring. A very light sweet soap sent. But for me after that initial spritz all I smell is tuberose. And unfortunately, for me that is one of my least favorite scents. I was really hoping for that creamy sultry Gardenia mixed with some yummy delicious coconut. But, on my skin and in my nose, All I get is tuberose. Bummer. Maybe someone in my family will like it and if not, it will be a lovely air freshener.In case anyone is wondering why I gave it five stars because it is a very lovely fragrance. Itâs just not for me personally.

The Best Drugstore Gardenia of All Time
I love the narcotic, buttery scent of white floralsâjust yum. But they donât come cheap. And the cheap donât smell good. This is the exception.Iâve loved Jovanâs Island Gardenia since high school, which makes it a pretty dang enduring love). For my money, itâs the purest, most nuanced gardenia you can find for under 20 bucks. Itâs just delicious and it lasts for hours. If you love your gardenia straight up, you really can never go wrong with Jovan.

Sweet Summer clean scent
Just like I remembered from the 80âs. Brings back memories of Summer days tanning with baby oil & cruising in cars at night with a sunburn/radio blasting. Great times!

Strong and old smell!
This used to smell really fresh and not loud. But this particular bottle was barely a tiny spritz on my wrist and rubbed them together. The accent wa very heavy and smelled old. It would not leave off my skin even after washing, and it made me sick and get a headache. Very stinky strong. In the past it was a nice fresh gardenia scent that would fade out just right! This is going to the dump for giveaways! Whatâs waste of money.

Does it smell like gardenia? Yes, mostly. Itâs about 90% gardenia, 5% vanilla and 5% musk. Overall, this is better or as good as many gardenia perfumes worth hundreds of dollars – which Iâve tried most of. Will I purchase again? Absolutely. Does it last? 2/3 of the day. The bottle is a nice quality and the spray works great. (Iâm 35 and this doesnât smell old lady like.)
