Wowâ¦wowâ¦WOWSERS!!
I have long hair (past my shoulders) and spend too much time blow drying (and smoothing with curling iron) for my hair to frizz as soon as I step out the door. I have tried EVERYTHING from store to salon brands and NOTHING works like this product! I have serums, creams, oils, you name it. I put it to the test yesterday as it had rained and we had basically 100% humidity. I went out, ran some errands, came home and my hair looked almost as smooth and silky as I did before I left the house. I could not believe my eyes! At some point getting in and out of the car, I would have put my hair in a ponytail. I keep hair ties in my handbag, car, etc because I canât stand the frizz. Do not waste your money on anything else. This is the real deal! I regret spending $45 on a smoothing cream at salon last week. Guess I can use my expensive products in the winter when thereâs zero to no humidity and throw all the other stuff away. Iâm getting another one of these to put in my travel bag! So happy I decided to give it a try! 🙂

The best product blow dry product I’ve ever used for humid weather
Does an amazing job of keeping my thick, wavy hair frizz-free when I blow dry it straight in humid weather. I like that it isn’t overloaded with fragrance (like Oribe). I’ve tried so many products through the years: Kerastase Nectar Thermique, Oribe Supershine Cream, Garnier Sleek and Shine serum, Kerastase Oleo Relax, several of the Giovanni serums and glosses. This trumps them all!!!!I decided to buy this after seeing all of the positive reviews from people who live in humid climates. NYC summers are super humid as well. If you struggle to find a blow dry product that keeps your hair from frizzing up, you need this. I would say to use a good amount though. At first I only used a dime size amount because I read the reviews about how potent it is.I probably use 2 quarter size amounts total, one on each side of my head. It may feel like you have a bit too much product on at first, but your hair absorbs it (if you have thick hair like me). Highly recommend finishing with Alterna’s Anti Frizz oil from the same line (same lilac packaging). Smells amazing and gives a nice gloss.Best of all: I have no itchy scalp or irritation from this product. It doesn’t make my hair or scalp feel overly dirty. And I don’t need touch ups!

I like how it takes control of my hair. My hair isn’t frizzy anymore.The style stays, not too mention heat protection. LOVE IT.

Blow out Butter
This blowout butter comes in a substantial size tube. The directions are to use a small amount. It would have been nice if the description was more like “…use a small dab about the size of a dress shirt button”. On the first try I had a dab that was absolutely not small enough. So I washed it out and started over! I used a very small amount, made sure I rub the cream into my palms until any white had dissolved and become more like an oil, then only applied it to the very ends of my hair. It worked much better then. My ends felt nice and smooth but I wish there had been something to make the rest of my hair feel good too. The package does say for medium to thick hair. Perhaps my hair is not within that suggestion. It’s fine but full so this may work better for someone with thicker hair.

Good stuff
I have fine, mostly straight, coarse hair, that is very prone to frizz. Even though this says it’s for medium to thick hair, I find it really does work on my hair and helps keep my blow-outs smooth and free of frizz.

I received this from my mom who found it in a discount bin somewhere and it turned out to be the best hair product I’ve found in the last half decade. I’ve since committed to seeking it out on Amazon and purchasing it full price for myself:)I have loose, shoulder-length curls that gravitate toward frizziness. I dispense about a large-pill sized amount on my hands and run my finger through my wet hair and “poof” fluff it in… as it’s drying I continue to scrunch it every 5-10 mins until the curls are set. They look defined without appearing wet. I get some really nice corkscrews in the front as well.

I’m so glad I read the reviews and decided to try this even though I thought it was pricey, I love the way it comes out as a cream, rubs to oil and makes my summer frizzy ends drink this up and look so much softer . Worth the price for sure.

I had been using the Alterna Bamboo Brilliance Cream (green tube) for years but they stopped making it and this was the closest to it I could find. I would say itâs a similar leave in product to make hair soft and shiny but perhaps slightly shortens the time before the next hair wash is required! Smells nice!
