Correct Product Varying My Grey Hair Styles from Smooth Waves to Full Afro
Very usable/ Arrived intact. Big wide jar & lid may be a bit difficult for some. No scent problem. Using on my unprocessed grey African American type hair to vary my styles when I choose -from smooth waves to full blown perfect afro. Normal average price compared to moderate pricing stores. A Dab Smoothed Through Damp Hair = Good-To-Go
A dime sized-dab smoothed through clean, damp sectioned hair from tips to roots will keep curls in place. IF you use too much and hair dries crunchy, just scrunch-n-fluff to release the hold and keep moving. Just DO NOT use a comb to bust up the curls OR the crunch. IF you get flakes, the two most common reason is too much gel used and/or your conditioner didn’t rinse out clean and doesn’t work with the gel.You have to work this into your hair care routine and figure out HOW and HOW MUCH to use for your desired results. This has been around as a universal product for naturally curly hair for quite a while. It’s also used for wet sets on MOST hair types, works very well on chemically relaxed hair roller sets under the hair dryer OR for blow-outs/flat ironed styles for FRIZZ-CONTROL.ALWAYS START WITH CLEAN DAMP HAIR regardless of your intended style result.

Product is good! I’ve been using this gel for years, for me 5 stars all the way for what it is.How it arrives is the only negative side for me. The plastic that ampro uses isn’t the best(a plastic Easter egg has more flexibility) so it cracks very easily.I understood the risks reading the previous reviews, I just was crossing my fingers hoping it wasn’t going to happen to me…but it did. Not so bad I have a previous container to put the damaged one in.4 of 5 stars total1 star off because of shipping.

Dance competition hair
I use this for my daughter’s dance competition hair. It works well at slicking everything down and keeping it in place for hours. It also makes her slick back bun very shiny and sleek. It keeps her braids from fraying. Keep in mind they recently changed the packaging. I was confused when I first received it and they did some research to find out it had changed. Highly recommend this to anyone needing a stronghold style that lasts.

Great gel but caused nasal polyps
Used this for 10+ years with great results. Along the way, I developed huge nasal polyps that blocked my entire nasal passages. After a few years with no relief, I stopped using this gel and the polyps disappeared in just a few weeks. Not sure which ingredient(s) caused the polyps, but if you have the same issue, ditch this hair gel!

Gigantic product. Good enough strength to hold your hair throughout the day. Don’t expect it to hold your hair up stiff like extra hold hairspray, but when applying hairspray then it definitely stays up depending on what you are doing. My hair is pretty stubborn to gel products, but this gel does the job in addition to a comb. Light fragrance ant not overpowering at all.

Gel is okay. I find the drug store gel in the yellow tube keeps hair down longer. I ended up returning this one as it was more liquid than actual gel. Save your money!
